Staff accommodated my needs and changed my room to ground level as I was having knee surgery. The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice hot shower.
If I had to complain: In colder months, I think the room would need a better heater. There was an old quilt between fresh new white sheets and old-looking blankets in a freshly renovated room. However, these things did not bother me too much.
The only thing would be the staff - he was polite and helpful enough.
Everything else: - Toilet leaked - The whole building stunk like bad eggs - The room stunk like bad eggs - The lounge & floor was sticky and smelly - the Sofa bed had stale doritos in it. - Dishes had old food stuck on it.
It was nothing special, but there was nothing really wrong with it either. Average.
For a family of five on a 8 day stay over in Melbourne was very addiquit. Thanks
Wasn't clean cobwebs around unit and bathroom was dustie and could of been cleaner. Kitchen lacked utensils pots and pans.
Needed cleaning Minor maintanence required
Good location for access to city and Albert Park. Unit larger than expected.
Entrance from Williams Road was hindered by the placement of rubbish bins when traffic was heavy.
Accommodation was reasonably priced and close to public transport.
The state of the bath was sub-standard and put me off using it. When taking a shower the water "pooled", and ended up standing in dirty water. Lighting in lounge/dining room was very poor. Not conducive to reading. Same for bedroom. "Coverings" on windows in lounge/dining room were unpleasant. Consisted of curtains, towel and some kind of bed covering. Housekeeping was non-existent. Fresh towels were provided during our stay, but the used ones were not taken. Payment for accommodation is an issue, which I am still trying to resolve.
Location Self contained Parking Close to transport Close to Chapel st shops Convenient for travel anywhere in Melbourne
Needs a good vacuum and or dusting, beds/mattresses need replacing or updating, quilts/covers need replacing. Can be a little noisy during peak hour.
Handy to shops and train station
Needs some repairs inside on paint work and some new appliances
Location fantastic, off-street parking good.
Very old and run down, needs a serious makeover. Beds were hard, pillows were hard, lounge old, stained & uncomfortable, bathroom too pokey and unclean. No hairdryer even though it was stated. Kitchen dirty, fridge dirty. Did not enjoy heading back there after business outing for 2 days.
Conveniently located near a tram stop and also 7 Eleven.
Entrance was not noticeable and welcoming. Needs refurnishing .
Facilities in the room
It's close to everything
Kitchenware too old to be used.
All requests accommodated without question.
the location and the staff
dark hallways, uncomfortable beds
I often stay at these apartments and am always confident my stay will progress well. Sometimes I am only able to arrive after the reception has closed but always my needs are met and either the key is in the box or I am instructed to call and someone is immediately there to support me. See you next time!
Friendly staff, good price, good location, comfortable.
Carparking really bad and very unorganized
Mould around the sink and a clump of hair in the shower was a bit off putting but otherwise comfortable.
Parking is free. near to st kilda
Bed was very comfortable in the 2 bedroom apartment
Apartments are very dated. Friends we were with couldn't stay in their apartment due to strong stale smoke smell and very noisy neighbouring apartments slamming doors and fighting. Cheap price - you get what you pay for!
Beds were very comfortable, clean linen, great TV!
Location was very noisy, neighbours a problem. Blinds in lounge room wouldn't open, internal doors wouldn't close. Bath needed plumbing. Whilst having a shower bath filled up around your feet. In first 5 mins of being there the wall heater circuited out the whole apartment. Curtains/windows were old and dirty looking and wouldn't close properly. Overall the apartments would only deserve a 2 star rating.
Location was good as I was having an operation at The Avenue Hospital near by and it allowed my parents to be close enough to visit me but also to be able to grab some dinner on their own after visiting hours.
Apartment was clean enough although did feel a little tired and dated. Could use some new curtains as they were a little shabby and just make sure they are wide enough to block all of the windows.
Friendly staff, clean and comfy apartment despite being an old property, good internet connection, free parking, near to 7-eleven, tram station & bus stop. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for me and my family and a great value for money too!
The access road into the parking area is very narrow and parking space is limited
There was 4 of us and we stayed for 4 nights and was on a budget, the facility catered for everything we needed and expected. We even needed one more bed and were supplied one at no additional charge. I will be suggesting this place to other people. As long as you know you get what you paid for this place is perfect. The tram stop was right outside and a short trip you were in the middle of Melbourne. parking was available on site.
To tell the truth if you understand you get what you paid for, this isn't a 4 or 5 star hotel l don't know how anyone could put some thing here.
The outside looked a little scary
