public transport at door and near victoria market check out at 12 oclock very helpful
Was nice and central to a lot of where we wanted to go. The walk back from Etihad Stadium to the hotel was fairly straight forward :)
Was a bit of bummer that it was two seperate single beds rather than a queen or king size. Mind you; the missus got a good sleep and she wasn't cranky in the morning :)
The location was prime and the pool was impressive
The beds were much smaller than depicted in the pictures. The shower had no waterpressure and the hot water would often unexpectantly change between cold and hot before the hot water would run out. The wifi was ridiculously overpriced and would prove difficult for international travellers without Australian sims. Finally upon checking-in we informed the hotel we would require a shuttle bus pick up to get us to the airport at 7:40, they informed us the only one possible was the 4am bus, so they booked it and it never arrived to only inform us that we must have been mistaken as the company only started at 6. Needless to say we had to lug large bags for 5km to the train station and were not impressed
No wifi, has to pay
leaving after 2 days
Poor service, No clean towels. No room cleaning on Sundays.Bad attitude when asked for clean towels. No toilet paper on the holder. Outside noise. Booked 6 mnth ahead asked for quiet room got level 1. Rude at front desk.
High standard of cleanliness. Very convenient to commute to Melbourne Park for the tennis.
Lack of free wi-fi is a negative. Television reception was extremely poor.
great location if visiting the City good price for two of our four night stay. kitchen facilities such a bonus.
Bed was a bit uncomfortable , especially staying for 4 nights couch not comfy to sit on to relax and watch TV, but spent most of the time away from the room.
It was the first time my friend had come to Melbourne. Close to city and cheap!
The staff were rude. When my husband collapsed in the lobby, the staff ignored us and we had to call the ambulance ourselves. They didn't even ask how he was. Towels are not changed daily. Would not stay there again even if offered it for free :(
Easy with kids to get and around the city
everything is easy especialy access via tram, clean tidy room, such a comfortable bed, just a pleasure to stay there security is brilliant
We booked this hotel again largely for its great location and value for money
Was a great location. Walking distance to the city and the tram stopped right outside the front door.
Wouldn't call the lounge room that. 3 of us perched on the couch with the TV 3 foot away from us. Couldn't swing a cat
The kitchen and bathroom is nice.
The staff is not so friendly. In the receipt was written 24 h parking for 15 Aud. But when we asked if we can a little bit longer in the car park park, we were required to pay for 15 again. The car park is difficult to find for the people, who are first time in this hotel.
Staff lacked basic knowledge re trams, stations, closest grocery shop etc.
The location was good
Accommodation was very pokie and not really suitable for 3 adults so one night was long enough.
Fantastic location, comfy beds, good price, great coffee at cafe.
Room was not serviced until 4pm each day when we had just returned and wanted to relax before dinner. We were out all day so would have been much nicer to return to an already cleaned room.
On the Skybus hotel shuttle route. Convenient for city, Carlton, market and major tram routes.
No view. Slightly beyond free tram zone Noisy neighbours
Friendly and helpful reception staff; having affordable and secure carparking with access to come and go as we pleased was a real bonus
No conditioner was supplied. There is no female ever that will wash her hair with shampoo and not follow up with conditioner.
Only a block from queen Vic market. Tram stop right outside. Helpful staff. Reasonably priced.
Pool and gym in building next door. Had to pull out microwave to plug in kettle and toaster.
Arrow on Swanston is close enough to the CBD to be very handy, but far enough away to feel like you are out of the rush a bit. The staff were really helpful, and the room surprisingly well fitted and serviced. Very good value for $, compared to similar accommodation.
Location Staff were very helpful & approachable Towels were great Shower was good Simple but all we needed Would stay again and recommend to my "non-frills" friends We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Arrow on Swanston played a part in that as well as great tennis and great city
Toaster in room 3713 Toilet didn't flush easily Need an ice tray in the freezer
Close to Queen Victoria Market and Lygon Street. Friendly easy service.
