I liked how the staff tried to help with needs. That they never supplied a wash cloth for bathing.

The location was quite nice for accessibility to the Blue Mountains, and shops. You should be embarrassed with the charges for staying in this low class accommodation. The room was not clean, panels falling off the wall near the sink, no soap to clean the cups and plates up with. Very poorly stocked with dishes, and cutlery. The whole room needs an update, and a complete cleanup. Maybe supply your guests with a face cloth for each person would help as well. The breakfast was groosly overpriced. I would not recommend this Bed and Breakfast to my worst enemy. I have never stayed in a place that won't supply dish soap to their guests when they supply dishes. When I was told you cant have a playgroung for children, all I could think of is that you are just too cheap for that. I did travel around Aussy for quite awhile, and you were the only place that the told me about the playground and soap. Shame on you for thinking you can offer an accommodation like you have. Or maybe you should offer it at a much reduced rate, so people will get what they pay for.

Cleanliness, location Considering the price: - Breakfast was scant. Yoghurt, fruit and a sweet option should have been included. - Guests should not have had to wash their breakfast dishes.

Has a nice ambience. Can sit outside. Bed was comfortable. Close to my conference venue. Reasonably priced. Shower leaked, which was annoying during the night. Breakfast - everything was grain based, which made it impossible for someone who didn't eat grains. Hunger obliged me to eat something, but I really suffered for it. (I suppose that's my own fault. In fairness, I did know breakfast would be just toast and cereals, but I thought there would at least be some gluten free product as so many people are gluten sensitive these days.) HATED the fact that I was paying and yet had to wash my own dishes after use. Why can't they instal a dishwasher and guests just load them into that? Rotting wood in the door frame of the ensuite concerned me a little.

The location to the train station was ideal for my trip. CLose to a range of shops and facilieis also. The shower room left a bit to be desired. The shower door was off its rail and the drainage was very poor, infact the slope of the shower floor meant water was always there and failed to drain properly.

The lounge areas, inside and out, were very relaxing, 8-10 mins walk to train station to the CBD The room was not quite as large as we expected, local parking is available but perhaps could be arranged by Ashfield

Ashfield Manor is economic, clean, comfortable b&b close to public transport (10-20mins to Sydney City) - they offer a wonderful breakfast (inlcuded in the cost) consisting of a selection of cereals and a variety of breads (love the fruit sourdough!) plus tea/coffee facility which is also available during the day. Friendly atmosphere. Good value for money. Some rooms are a little small (as on this occasion) but having stayed previously the room sizes definitely vary and are usually quite accommodating.

Shame on you !

Prijs Behoorlijk geluidsoverlast van de aangrenzende weg. Ontbijt is erg beperkt, alleen toast (maar dit is niet ongebruikelijk in Australie)

This is a very comfortable and clean place. I especially like the lounges and courtyard that you can relax in. They have a kitchen that is fully equipped if you wish to cook, a BBQ out in the courtyard and a continental breakfast included in the price. All in all very good value and transport by bus and train is close by to take you anywhere you wish to go. The staff are friendly and helpful and the beds comfortable. Recommended for people wanting a comfortable, feel at home, quiet visit
