Central. Comfortable.

Easy access to shops etc, on site restaurant, clean and tidy

Safety procedures. A fire alarm went off in the early hours of the morning. Procedures were not followed. There was no contact from staff, during or following the alarm. There was no open exit from the building. If this has been a real fire guests would have been trapped in the building. Very disturbing. I have provided feedback and asked for feedback. To date I have not recieved any.

A spacious room. Location right in the center of Alice Springs. Helpful staff.

The room I got initially (211) had a noisy air conditioner outside. #202 was opposite the elevator and the room I settled for (217) had a "view" of a corridor. Wifi costs aud 7.50/hour.

- location was really excellent - bedding was good and the air conditioning was very effective - breakfast buffet on the patio was very enjoyable

-bathrooms were a little run down, although function was OK - walking through the parking lot to get to the lift to my room

The room we'd reserved had been checked into prior to our arrival by another customer as the details weren't checked properly. We were apparently upgraded and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was hearty.

We went for a meal at the red ochre grill a few nights after we checked out of the Hotel.It was the 39 $ special three course menu. Had barramundi fillet which was pretty awful, well overcooked and tasted and looked nothing like barramundi. The knob of butter lumped on top was bigger than the portion of fish. Forwent the dessert as wasn't keen to eat anything else and the manageress on duty refused to discount the meal whatever and was very surly along with it.

The restaurant linked to hotel was really good. Excellent menu. Lovely breakfast too. Hotel was clean. Nice hot shower !!

The double bed was quite firm and I found it quite uncomfortable !! The shower gels and shampoos were not filled up !!

Facilities are a little tired

We thought the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We booked a tour that took us camping for two nights and the hotel offered to stow our luggage for us until we returned.

We stayed in two different rooms and each smelled slightly odd. The first smelled like chlorine, which is probably our fault because we checked in early and housekeeping had clearly just finished. The second smelled kind of musty, which went away as soon as we flipped on the a/C.

Convenient overnight stays at beginning & end of 4 days tour of Red Centre. Able to store bulk luggage.

Swimming pool not very inviting.

It's right in the heart of Alice and that is where you want to be in order to get a real feel for the place, a very special place.

The water was barely warm for my shower in the evening and in the morning. Very disappointing, at this price I would expect HOT water. The room was also noisy and the bathroom tiny. I asked for a discount on checkout but was flatly refused. My advice would be choose the Chifley instead.

The place was clean and centrally located. Staff were helpful.

The 10am check out seemed unnecessarily keen when the place was less than half full.

building quite "tired", lift and stairwells smelly, needed cleaning.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and very central. tea,coffee and biscuits were replenished daily

nothing to dislike. The hotel is central but there is not much to do in Alice at night.

This was a good, value for money hotel with good facilities, friendly, helpful staff and an excellent location.

Great staff on reception and kitchen.Breakfast $19 but worth it as you dont need no dinner good selection but dont leave it late as things got a bit dry.
