Location was excellent as we could walk to Enmore Theatre , also great shopping and lots of good eateries right at your doorstep . Overall good value for money . As we were near front of building traffic noise was an issue and room was very light at night , maybe blockout curtains ?

It is located on one of the busiest road of Sydney and good access to public transport. Inside is very well maintained and clean. Poor reception facility. Unattended at most times. Hotel entrance via alternate side door is a bit weird.

Great plastic cactus, shower was good. OTHERWISE A COMPLETE RIP OFF, THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED. AM THINKING OF LEGAL ACTION. Room was terrible for the price, a rip off. Was advertised as room with a 'garden view' and there wasn't one - photo of room was misleading, think there is a law about posting misleading advertising? When I complained at reception, was told there were no other rooms available. Room was small and worn, ceiling fan was noisy and when I turned it down all the fuses blew in the room.

The simple fact that it was nearby to Greek Church St Constantine's for funeral in Newton. For $189.00 a night, it was more a 2 star motel. Ceiling fan was noisy, traffic noise. The window was stuck, and too close to beds. The tv was not connected, not digital set box. Smelly, mouldy, the bathroom sink was burnt, and mouldy. The quilts were itchy and not clean.

Staff were friendly I did not enjoy my stay at all. It was a cheap motel with the feel of a boarding house. The room was small, the bed uncomfortable, no aircon, noisy, no water to fill up the kettle. The bathroom was disgusting with hair all over the shower walls and nowhere to put toiletries. Overall, extremely poor .

It is really fitting the neighborhood, an old renovated house with nice atmosphere, narrow winding corridors and staircases, high and narrow windows, lots of local art,... The interior is clean and taken care of. The rooms are functionally furnished, nothing exquisite there. Beds were comfortable. For the price we had, we could get a more polished standard elsewhere in Sydney, if somebody comes with such expectations, he might be disappointed. The windows are old and not isolating enough (sounds, wind). The notice in shower warning of steam shower triggering fire alarms was amusing at start of summer, maybe not so in winter.

After climbing 35+ stairs our room had French doors that opened onto a little wraught iron balcony. This was veiled by wisteria giving it a romantic appeal. Shared bathroom

location is good, right in Newtown....near Sandringham Hotel! it had a bed and a room and it was clean... Bad service, barely spoke English, didn't understand Australians, the rooms are small and pokey, shared bathroom did not have toilet paper and no way to dry hands. Service was indifferent and reception had friends visiting who were very noisy. Soulless accommodation. is very basic accommodation. Just a room with a bed .. more like student accommodation. When i phoned the hotel direct to confirm my booking on the day of arrival the Asian receptionist could not find my booking (she didn't even ask my full name) she sounded clueless and I was not provided any information as to whether i had a room or not. I ended up arriving and showing my ID and of course was booked properly through Booking.com.
