The location is excellent,a lot of kangaroos before sunrise and after sunset.Completed with kitchen, washer and dryer.Perfect for family of 4-5
It was a cosy cottage. Had everything I wanted. Fair price where the cottage was situated. The kids love the bunk bed.
There was a lot of spider web in the ceiling. That really turn me off. No washing machine but was advertised. Could have provided a box of matches so I can start dinner the night I check in. So no option, the kids had to have sandwich for dinner. Maybe better linen. It look a bit worn out and not wash.
Dirty facilities would not have stayed If there was an alternative nearby.
Very clean, new appliances, comfy beds, great location. Felt like a little home away from home.
Kitchen a bit small
Area of location
No staff at reception Had to ring admin to advise of arrival Rang reception for departure. Nil contact with reception Grounds poor BBQ filthy
Nice quite place. Friendly staff. Location is great.
It was comfortable and suited our needs for a short stay.
Lovely view. Good heater. Washing machine was great.
Neglected garden. All shelves in the fridge were missing. Very uncomfortable bed. Communal BBQ only partly worked. This has been a nice place in the past but is not being well kept.
Location was excellent , value for Money .. Would stay there again .
Very small rooms , would not spend a week with 4 people , not enough room to move ..
Very clean and tidy. Gas log heater warmed those chilly evenings and the kitchen was well appointed with everything you needed. Shower pressure was great after those long days of walking and the bed comfortable
Nothing. Very happy with everything and would stay there again.
Lovely places to see
Cleanliness. Sheets stained (unsure if washed - (either urine or sperm stains)). Bin beside the toilet not cleaned (items in it) Stove available for use - no ignition switch (we are non smokers so no lighter or matches). We have 2 young children (2 and 4) bunks in the main living area non suitable - description gave impression that was a 2 bedroom cottage. Bed very uncomfortable no allocated parking for the cottage we stayed in., Required to park near reception. Toilet not clean - stained under the rim. When checking in - had to ring manager. He advised to just check into room. Had to again contact when vacating. Never met until this stage - did not provide a professional image (manager attended in other working close like this was a second income for them). I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMEND YOU DELETE THIS PACKAGE FROM YOUR WEBSITE AS I FEEL THIS WOULD DO YOUR COMPANY A INJUSTACE TO THE REFERALS TO OTHER ORGANISATIONS..
Gas heater kept us toastie.
Shower in Wattle cottage was tricky, hot/cold/hot/cold.
Heater wasn't working, cold. Ants Couldn't close bedroom door as bed too big for room Shower very touchy and knob pops off Very pokey driveways for parking cars
The location was excellent. Cottages were spacious.. for the budget price. Close to wildlife and many walks. But away from the noisy town center. Helpful staff.
Big price difference between weekday and weekend rates.
A comfortable cottage in a good location. Clean and warm with all the conveniences needed for an overnight stay.
Awonga cottages just past main part of town so quiet an peaceful still close enough to trails to leave car behind cabins are basic but comfortable cosy an warm we certainly enjoyed our stay. Thank you
A good location and reasonably priced for an overnight stay. Gas log fire made for a cosy stay on a cold, wet night.
There were two stained pillow slips and the face washers were no longer white. The placing of bunk beds in the living area made the room quite cramped and access to the light switches difficult.
location close to town. Good heating. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Manager allowed us to use a bigger cottage to accommodate the 3 of us at no extra cost to us.
Poor communication between Booking.com and the manager at Awonga cottages. Inability to contact manager at the cottages to confirm change of booking to 3 persons because of an incorrect phone number on my paper work. On arrival we were given a double bed cottage despite us changing our booking at Booking.com to 3 persons.
As a solo traveller, the cabin was a decent size and was comfortable.
The bed was a problem, the mattress was uncomfortable and the sheets had a strange odour which made me suspect they were not fresh.
I loved the position and the birds and the view although from my place this was obscured.
Advertised with washing machine. The place needs a good clean and the venetian blinds in the kitchen were filthy. It is described as cozy but it is anything but. Very basic. Keep off the garden signs everywhere and no gardens and full of weeds. Someone needs to do some work. 4 stars ~ tell them they are dreaming!!!
We enjoyed our stay in Wattle cottage, Shane was really friendly and approachable. The facilities were perfect for our short stay and the location was great.
The only problem we had was with the shower. The water temperature was either scolding hot or freezing cold.
We were travelling with 2 young children & a baby. The cottage was perfect with everything we could need, including a washing machine, bunk beds and an electric blanket on the master bed. It was a great place for an overnight stop.
Some of the bath towels could be replaced, as a couple of them had bleach stains. There were cobwebs on the ceiling in the bathroom, and it could have been cleaned a little better. There are no facilities for the kids in terms of a playground or play area, so it would be a perfect stay for a couple of days but any longer and you may prefer to stay elsewhere.
It was quiet and compact. There was an air conditioner which was much needed. Kitchen most adequate and bathroom clean and practical.
The bed was a little hard.
