Food and hospitality. The room and bathroom were spacious and the small touches that made the accommodation feel homely. i had never stayed at a B and B before. So I did not like it at first but when i accepted that this is what a B & B is then I enjoyed the experience

Shirley and ian were very friendly and us feel very welcome and at home. They were helpful with information on places to see . we both were very happy with our stay their and have already recommended the place to people we have met on our travel

After travelling long distances in western Queensland and staying in motels and hotels, this was a delightful surprise. The hostess was extremely welcoming and hospitabel. The King Size bed was exceptionally confortable and the room very attractive overlooking a lovely garden. Afternoon tea was provided on arrival with delicious cakes and the breakfast in the morning consisted of fresh fruit and a hot cooked breakfast. I would recommend the Ayr Bed and Breakfast to anyone travelling the Queensland coast.

Ian and Shirley couldn't do enough to help out and make you feel at home and relaxed - they showed genuine interest in why we were there, i.e. Burdekin Eisteddfod and loved hearing the updates at the end of the day. Only thing an issue and not really an issue is the fact that you are in someone else's house - not your own fully, but the house was so roomy and private, it didn't really matter.
