Backpack Oz

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The backpacker was surprisingly clean. In this backpacker there is: - free wifi - free bikes - free pool table - free breakfast - on wednesday there's free BBQ! I could sleep very well, no noise. I loved this backpacker! The atmosphere is very friendly and the evening games are very funny and makes easier to meet other people!

There is nothing that I didn't like. This backpacker was a really nice surprise for me.

Convenient location and shared bathrooms were clean and not busy.

There was a mistake, but the hostel organized everything for us: providing a night in another hotel and fixing our Kangaroo Island for us. I don't think other hostels would have helped us so in a so critical situation. Great hostel.

It was very relaxed and friendly, clean with plenty if facilities, though does need a refurb in some parts. Very comfortable and great to chill out in.

It was a little too quiet sometimes.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room comfortable,and breakfast very enjoyable. I was travelling with a 7 year old, and both of us were made welcome. Really appreciated transport to the Central Bus Station.

Хостел очень понравился. Есть разные номера как для индивидуальных путешественников так и семейные-гостевые номера. Основными постояльцами были немецкие студенты. Атмосфера спокойная и дружелюбная. Персонал "френдли". Очень важно что не обманули с интернетом. На всей территории хостела, кроме гостевого корпуса есть бесплатный wi-fi.

Из минусов только странный режим работы кухни, Кухня работает до 10 вечера, что не совсем удобно, когда возвращаешься поздно вечером с прогулки по городу в хостеле поесть уже не удастся. Но это мелочи.

Das Hostel war mit Zugang zum Internet (free Wireless) anonciert, bei all meinen drei Aufenthalten, war das Wireless nicht so stark, dass man seinen gmx-Account öfnen konnte, geschweige denn Dateien verschicken konnte und man hätte extra zahlen müssen um das Internet am hauseigenen Computer zu nutzen

I felt it was incredibly overpriced for a run down building and gross room with exposed wiring and stains everywhere. The toilets were in poor, dilapidated condition.

Having a free breakfast included, even if it was just toast and cereal, isn't something you find every day, so it was definitely a bonus. Not too far from Rundle Mall and the city centre, so a good location too.

The windows had to stay open, which made it unnecessarily cold and noisy with the rooms that faced the main road. The blinds may have helped cancel out some of the cold/noise, but the lack of weight at the bottom meant that it was practically useless on that front. Also, the taps could use some fixing to stop them from leaking, and the beds could use a good going-over with some WD-40.

The price that I was quoted (and that I paid) was more expensive than what Backpack Oz advertises their rooms for.

I liked the cleanliness and location- couldn't ask for better location :)

The doors locked at 10 pm after which you have to go in through a side entrance. I thought that was smart and safe since it kept unwanted people out but the side door was always dark and a little scary to get in when I was by myself.

The price that I paid through booking.com was more expensive than what Backpacker Oz quote if you book through them.

The staff were very helpful and did their best to ensure I had a pleasent stay, the room was comfortable, clean and tidy. The free BBQ dinner was excellent. The other guests respected that there were other guests who may not want to stay awake until the early hours of the morning so I was not disturbed by undue loud noises when I went to sleep. The staff; Sam, Penny, Brad, Kammi and Mel were always ready to help m,e with any questions or help I neededm, this was really appreciated.

Nothing, compared to other backpaker hostels i have stayed, this is the best.
