Friendly staff

Great value for money the room was clean and comfortable. The satff extremely helpful. We would stay there again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was probably the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in, bathroom was spotless and smelt really nice and clean. Comfy bed, great views, good price.. Everything was perfect.

We found the Balmoral to be.... In order of requirements 1 clean 2 friendly/efficient 3 central 4 value for money Leather couches are great, the tv was a good size and the room was spacious and appeared to be clean. The place was altogether very welcoming, we will definately stay there again.

Excellent accommodation and friendly, helpful staff. Everything about the place was first rate and it was just a short stroll to the heart of the town.

The location suited us very well. We were comfortable.... All our needs were met.

I found nothing to dislike

Great location. Superb facilities, free internet, very good laundry, plenty of free car parking, comfortable room, king size bed, television with loads of channels including free movies. The staff and in particular the owner were superb, a really great place.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a cheerful smile from reception staff, which was a great start. Complimentary newspapers were a bonus. The hotel was very convenient to the cbd of Launceston, and the city park, where the Festivale weekend was being held, and which we attended. When we discovered we had left toothpaste at home, some was quickly delivered to our room from reception, and without any charge! We were most impressed with Balmoral on York, and breakfast was included in our room rate, and would recommend this establishment.

As I am also in the industry (4 star establishment)I found the staff were 1st class and very helpful.The cleanliness of our room and breakfast room were excellent and I will be recommending this business to any of our guests who may be visiting Launceston. I will be staying again for the next couple of days as my husband has been readmitted to hospital.

the view was good as that was a requirement we requested. The closeness to the city meant we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Breakfast was included in the price of the room and it was an ample meal for us and was presented very nicely. The main thing was the room was clean.

Room is a bit old but still clean.

The management and staff were so friendly and helpful one could ask anything.We were particularly grateful for assistance booking a car on arrival Melbourne after our departure as the Manager saved us some money.Overall the team made our stay very enjoyable and if that way again we would stay there.Also the meals we had there were very enjoyable the best cheese platter.
