The atmosphere of the house. The bathroom was up to standard! Very good actually.
All the musquitos that were in the house!
I loved everythink about the cottage the bathroom, kitchen and dinning room were superb even laundry .I looked in every cupboard and was amazed anything u could ask for was their already.
wen we first arrived we were like this is creepy big spider hang in in a web .the front lights were very dim.the front and bak yard was like a spooky house in the movies I was a little scared.
Really enjoyed it . Very comfortable clean and relaxing. Great character
the warmth, the history, the fabulous bed, location, and the breakfast. Friendly.. well looked after from booking to arrival, and nice clear instructions . Thanks!
Aside from the pub there weren't dinner spots that could be walked to.. probably partly as we arrived late - perhaps you could recommend some places at time of booking We had trouble with the door..
Really appreciated the little touches. We arrived to a bottle of wine, a fridge stacked with breakfast goodies, the airconditioner on, a decanter of Port and chocolates. What more could you need to start off a perfect weekend of winetasting in the Barossa. This property is extremely quiet and comfortable - we didn't feel like we had booked a cabin - we immediately felt at home. Great bathroom and amenities throughout.
Ok so although the place was pretty clean when I went looking for an item I lost I noticed that it was not clean under couches etc. So we did have to do a bit of cleaning when we got in. the remote control for the DVD was not working and we bought some replacement batteries. But these issues were small in comparison to the upside of this property.
The house was spotlessly clean, the breakfast provisions were ample (the bacon was amazing!!).
We had an issue with the air conditioner blowing cold air on a cold, wintry weekend but to be fair we didn't contact Kim or Malinda as our daughter and her family were staying just around the corner and we spent most of the weekend with them
In general cottage was good. Breakfast provisions good.
Bathroom needs a little more attention to cleaning.
loved it was a beautiful little cottage with all the amenities to enjoy after long day wine tasting. Nicely renovated and has everything you need for a 2 bedroom cottage owners are lovely and package was great! well be back
The old school charm
The cottage was great with friendly accommodating owners.
The friendly "landlady" the excellent foods left and replenished, the super bathroom the quiet location, the historic cottage.
No hanging space in one of the bedrooms
For a Heritage B&B It had ambience, great air flow, neatly furnished & everything that was required. We loved it thank you.
All good !
Very well appointed. Comfortable. Modern facilities. Good location. Breakfast provisions were lovely.
The light switches!!!! Too many switches. Few were operational.
Nice owners. Lovely touch with welcoming bottle of wine.
The Barossa suffers from a dearth of good restaurants for dinner. Lyndoch reflected that with the best restaurant not taking orders on a Sunday evening after 8 pm. Gawper had nothing special open for dinner on Sundays
The cottage (Bandicoot Nest) was lovely - just what we needed. Close drive to town. Great breakfast provisions.
Loved the charm of the cottage. Very well equipped and appointed. Melinda was wonderful and the port, wine and chocolates are a lovely touch. Lyndoch is a great base from which to explore the Barossa.
We had a lovely relaxing time in the cottage. The mixture of cottage charm and modern living was great and the heating was effective even though it was quite a cold weekend. The breakfast was lovely and the complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates was a lovely touch. Wished we could have stayed longer.
