A few coat hangers in the wardrobe wouldn't go astray, a second towel hook in the bathroom, and a couple of door hooks for coats. These are all pretty cheap and easy to fix things. The screws on the bottom of the ladder for the top bunk had come off, too. This's a huge place for a small staff to run and it's well managed, these are just minor tweaks that would make a big difference. Then there is the notorious nightclub. We did get put in the quieter end of the inn on the second floor and the noise wasn't too bad, but even with the earplugs the bass and dull thump made it hard to sleep at first. That was Wed night, blissfully it's not running on Thu night. It's a shame, because it's a good place otherwise. So just be aware, if you're on the right side of the building, Wed, Fri and Sat nights you'll hear the nightclub. I don't know how the people on the first floor would cope, it'd be very loud.
I can't complain, $25 per night for a two person room with its own bathroom and toilet that was cosy, comfortable and very clean and centrally located is extremely good value. The hardworking staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are basic but not spartan and the interior decoration inside the second floor is pretty nice. It looks like The Doctor Blake Mysteries, which was really cool, not even joking! Because the other guy who got put in the room with me was a really great guy, we got along really well and became friends, I came out feeling like I'd had the time of my life at the end of the two nights!
