clean and friendly

I don't like to park my car to the parking building, because of narrow entrance. Some staff need more training to be more hospitable, such as recognizing / howto greet regular guest.

We had no hot water the first morning with only a weak apology when we mentioned it to the reception staff.

Good front desk staff, good location, $10 per night car parking in a private multi-level car park is pretty good.

Interior needed some updating, looks pretty tired. Shower temperature flutuates, old shower curtain.

Very quiet, friendly & very helpful staff. Close to tram stop, short ride to everywhere. Beautiful views of Albert Park & City. Very clean & spacious hotel room, beds very comfortable.

Hotel was clean but functional rather than a wow factor. Room was spacious and comfortable. Relatively close to tram routes so did not need to use the car for 3 days. Was not expensive and met our needs of a base to see Melbourne. Glynn & Barbara (UK)

All digital free to air channels were not available. Also, wifi was very expensive

The location - close to tram stops with easy access to the city and St Kilda Beach. Staff were very helpful and a nice relaxing feel to the place.

The hotel was a bit dated and in need of refurbishment in some areas.

The food was nice not bad for room service ......staff were friendly

The pillows were terrible too soft and thin....don't like showers in bath tubs, my mum stayed too and cld'nt have a shower cause of her hip! Not the best view either!

Proximity to the city yet not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Availability of off street car parking.

The lifts were very slow other than that all was good.

Location was good. Pool and spa was nice.

Room a lot smaller then shown on website not good when you travelling with a young child....bathroom was dirty and mouldy when we checked in.

I thought the location was good. I liked the cleanliness and the cost.

That they do not have transfers from the hotel to the airport.

The idea of being near the park sounded good but there was a very busy road in between. The staff were very prompt to sort out problems.

It was a bit too far out of town.The rooms were very dark. We struggled to see maps for our planning. It would have been good to have had a shower near the pool or even better to have had changing facilities.
