Good location.. But that is all.... Don't stay in this hotel!!!!!!! Here is my story.... I went this weekend to Apollo Bay to spend just one night. Arrived on Friday 7pm and left on Saturday at 10:45am... When I did the check in at the hotel, the owner asked me to sign off a "contract" where, according to him, was just saying that I had to pay if I break anything in the room... However... When I did the check out at 10:45 in the next morning, the owner charged me aditional $60!!!! According to the hotel "policies", the check out time is 10am and they were supposed to charge $20 of every 15 minutes that the customer is late!!! So... I said that I never saw a pollicy like this before and that it was not fare to charge me $60 for 45 minutes above the check out time (10am!!)... The owner did't care and said that I signed off the contract agreeing with this policy and he couldnt do anything!.... I said that I was going to complaint about it in booking.com and he said that he wouldn't care.... What a pity!!....I Felt like he was just stealing my money from my wallet! So, dont go to this hotel!!!!!

The staffs are really helpful. We were enquiring with them on road toll charges (Citylink), they were relentless in their effort to help find out the info that we need. Thumbs up on their excellent services! The glass window in the bathroom and kitchen is kind of translucent, peeping tom might have easy access. Might want to improve on the security in this area. Other than that, everything else is perfect.

Beachfront Motel was a great find. The room was spotlessly clean with all the facilities you could need. The motel is located right on the main drag of Apollo Bay and is within 5 to 10 minutes walk of everywhere, including bars, restaurants, shops and the tourist information office. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for accomodation in Apollo Bay.

Good location.very friendly Team running the Motel. Well stocked kitchenette. (Fridge,toaster etc) Comfortable bed. Room had suitable blinds but no air con. Ceiling fan was adequate for our visit. In short, an excellent night stop location for the Great Ocean Road drive. Nothing. Good rating for facilities due lack of Aircon.

As a holiday destination, Apollo Bay is a wonderful size for a young family. It isn't so big and sprawling that you feel you might get lost, but it is still large enough to keep you entertained. The Beachfront Motel was ideally situated, almost right in the centre of town! Such a short, easy walk to both the beach and the shops. Our room was small but impeccably clean and comfortable, and we felt very relaxed there. We were mainly interested in getting out and about - seeing the sights and swimming - so it made a nice, comfortable little home base, in the mornings and night. I would - and indeed have - recommended this place to anyone who wants to a reasonably priced weekend getaway. The natural sights are amazing. We saw a seal swimming by the shore, ate the best lobster we have ever experienced in our lives, saw koalas in the wild, and our 4 year old daughter even caught (and released) a small fish on the local pier! The shower area was a little dark. But really, no major complaints. Great value for money!

Perfect location - very close to the restaurants and shops and easy access to the beach. Clean and comfortable room. Very friendly staff. The room was not that private - you had to close the blind to get privacy.

Rooms were clean and a good size,also the location was great,easy to walk to shops,restuarants etc,quieter side etc. The fridge is only a really small,no good to us ,we couldnt even re freeze our freezer blocks for our esky.No DVD player.
