The location is fantastic and the place has potential. The shower had mould the toilet still had the remains from the last patron. The double bed sagged that badly we went and purchased some timber to fix it. When they indicated that there was no linen which is fine but no pillows no towels, they provide tea and coffee, a kettle, toaster, but no crockery cutlery no t towel, the camp kitchen was filthy in a word.

The pub staff were very friendly and helpful, meals were excellent and the atmosphere was very relaxing also the metal detecting shop staff were helpful. Was very disappointed that the waterslide was not open on the Sunday when it was a very warm day, also I feel that a few items would be good in the bathroom (mirror, towel hooks )

Being out of the town, but only a short drive to attractions. No bed linen or spending room price again to loan linen.

The setting was good The air conditioner and TV worked fine The spring mattress on the double bed was ruined - when lying down one rolled into a deep depression in the middle. The situation was the same for the single bunk above. False advertising - stated linen required This normally means sheets and pillow cases. However, needed pillows, blankets, tea-towel, bath mat and towels. The jug provided could only be filled by using the shower.

We had access to the paddle pool of the waterslide next door. Very quite surrounds. Kitchen mostly functional (matches and detergent would have made it even better). Stayed 2 separate nights - one night in cabin 6 and another night in cabin 7. Both had squeeky floor. Both had beds that were too soft. Door handles of chest of draws in cabin 7 were missing.

Beautiful bushy surrounds and birdlife. Next to waterslide and recieved free entry to their paddle pool. Friendly staff. No laundry. Squeeky floor. Bed was too soft. Rubbish bin was overflowing before we arrived. Rotting fruit between wall and bench in cabin 6.

Wash basins inconveniently placed- too cramped to get one's head over the basin.

It was a good experience but the cabins need some TLC. A fresh coat of paint, a proper clean and some new mattresses. As above

Peaceful and had all basic requirements. I liked there was a pub with a roaring fire and cheap meals and accomodation. Very close to the city of Bendigo also but not so close that you werent part of the bush

Cabins were clean, tidy, very comfortable and functional. We loved the bush setting-saw many types of birds. Were able to have meal at pub next door. Floor was squeeky. Bins were overflowing. Kitchen didn't have bowls.

A quiet peaceful location. Very polite and helpful staff. We stayed in Cabin 3 and I would have to say the bed with the double bottom and bunk top is well past its used by date you sleep on an angle, kept rolling into my wife, the springs stick into you so much so it gave me a sore back and everytime either of us moved in the bed it was so noisy the other person got woken up. A microwave oven and a toaster would be good in each cabin not everyone likes to get up on cold mornings and use the outside kitchen. We would stay there again if the above was fixed.

The bed was warm and comfortable and the shower was hot, also the toaster was most superior. the glasses were hidden and I didn't find them till the second day. The cane drawer is a bit dangerous- when you pull it out I nearly dropped the whole thing. It would be better to put the glasses in the ckkkupboard. Also the shower screen doesn't slide too well. I nerly got stuck in the shower. Another thing is that there was no obvious place to leave the key when I left. I left it in the cabin. The booking website said that I wouldn't have to pay till i was there, but my credit card was debited when I made the booking and the linen arrangement was ambiguous It said that linen was $21 extra so I brought my own but when I got there there were already sheets on the bed and towels in the bathroom

the quiteness my wife was not on the trip with me as she had to go to sydney instead , so i was on my own in the cabin , if she was with me she would have not stayed in the cabin as i found the room had a bad smell to it and the carpet was very dirty and i also were biten by either fleas or some bug in the room , all in the carpet i think . so on that bases so i Would not recommend Bendigo Bush Cabins to other travellers , i think if it was not for the carpet bugs and smell i Would recommend Bendigo Bush Cabins to other travellers so it is a 50/50 recomendation . sorry thank you jeff mejlak

Well what can I say, I booked on line one hour from the place, when I located it out in the bush, was greeted with a pile of rubbish beside the caretakers office guess that was the Eco-Friendley part of the place never wanting to clean up. Had a look at the room was nothing like the pictures on the site, then he wanted to charge $20+ for sheets & blankets for the bunk beds which were not shown in the on line presentation. I politely declined the room with the caretaker, advising that was not what we looked at in his booking.com ad Just to rub salt in the jerk has debited my credit card which I will be disputing with the bank. Well I guess if i was a red neck hillbilly would have loved the place. Needs a good bushfire to clean up the rubbish.

Quiet environment, beautiful setting, loved the verandah, easy check-in. The room had a smell to it. Out of the five bedding spaces, only two were suitable for sleeping in. One bunk had soft, sagging, uncomfortable mattresses., It was so wobbly and squeaked. Thank goodness there were only two of us! I was disappointed there was no toaster.
