Owners where willing to make our stay as best at possible
room was a little to small
Nice and quiet
We ran out of hot water, not enough hot water for 2 showers
Loved the bush setting quite place to stay
I liked the atmasphere and the pub was just fabulas .
A very quite surrounding
Our cabin needed a toaster for our breakfast
to tell the truth my sons love all of it
they sed the stay was to short
Hand basin you either had hot or cold water there was no plug,we were advised about mosquito problem but there was no fly wire screens or fly wire doors or insect repellent, shower was hard to regulate. There was no bedside tables to put alarm clock,no plates for food.no wardrobe to hang clothes. The shower had black mold around bottom All small things but i would hate to have booked for a week.
The bush feeling and the excellent food at the bush pig inn. The staff were awesome. i buggered up the booking and had us down for 2 people when there was 5 of us they brought the additional beds in at 1100PM.
The food and people was great will be returning next year
Idyllic setting very peaceful
Great location with trees everywhere. Pub next door and a waterslide as well.
After paying at the caretakers office was shown a cabin with bunks in, no linen or pillows, mould in the shower and very smelly (told that was because they had had a group of sweaty child staying before), NOTHING like the photos online. After complaining was shown a very different cabin with a double bed in all made up and a clean bathroom. Was not available to use only for show. As we had booked 2 double cabins but not available we left and went into town and stayed in a very comfortable pub so we paid twice for our accommodation that night as the Bendigo cabins would not give us a refund saying they had reserved the 2 cabins for us even though there was no one else on the site. Very a unpleasant experience especially as we had friends from the UK with us.
Convenience Away from centre of town but still close enough to commute
Not being able to pull curtains very easily. Leaky tap
Too high cost$$$
lovely staff, our room was clean, very comfy. my daughter loved the water slide. Thankyou for a great experience. I will bring my other children for a visit next time.
their were a large group of young men their that had been drinking. I was woken by their loud yelling and one of their cars leaving and someone yelling at them to grow up. but it stopped almost as quick as it started.
My deluxe cabin was great. Beautiful linen, comfy bed, good cutlery, crockery. I did take battery operated candles for ambiance as not a fan of fluorescents. Air conditioner worked well and quiet!
Hair in basin and dirty mirror. Close to camp kitchen and had very inconsiderate people who were noisy. Shelly dealt with this situation well.
Liked the environment
It was very friendly & relaxed. The staff were very nice & helpfull
Loved the location in the bush but in town , only complaint is I booked a cabin which u could pick on the site with a double bed, when I got there sorry only have a cabin with bunk beds.was not happy with tgat as they waited till I paid b4 tellin me,pron knew I would have went else where if they told me first
hard to locate, poor staffing, little help, a very bad experience
Quiet location, a local pub nearby
No inside table and chairs, poor maintenance, no eating utensils or crockery
Staff were lovely and extremely apologetic when our first cabin had a blocked toilet. The bed and linen were very good.
Bathroom tiny, hand basin very very small and badly stained, basic accommodation. The rooms had been recently painted and there was paint everywhere paint should not be.
Handy to our Bendigo activities. It was a good price for what you got, but promotional descriptions need be more indepth. Linen package was fine but extra pillows needed as the 2 provided were too low for us.
No table in the room so we used the outdoor one instead. Upholstered chairs are in need of being thrown out - very stained so we used the outdoor ones. No plates or cutlery - would have been nice to be told prior to arriving so we could bring our own. Shower needs a revamp, basin minuscule to wash face, mugs or filling kettle etc.
Basic, simple, easy, convenient. Would like to return in summer when the slide is operating with our kids and try the pub.
Early checkout (same everywhere).
The beds were very uncomfortable and the extra $21 linen fee was too much, could have stayed in a good motel for the same.
