Best Western Bakery Hill Motel  

Excellent location. Neat and clean beds and room.

I booked through a website and when asked if I have any requirements I did pose a question. I was told that I will be answered within 48 hours regardless of the outcome. Unfortunately they never contacted me to answer my request. A bit disappointing. Doesn't put me off the motel just the website I used.

Convenient for restaurants and city shopping. Park the car and walk, enjoy some drinks and dining.

The pub next door, the car stereos thumping away all hours of the night, and the general traffic noise.

Very friendly staff, and management were very obliging and helpful. This motel is well located for shopping/dining and visits to Sovereign Hill. Large room. Lots of light in the room, which is well laid out. Clean.

Inconsistent hot water in the shower. Street noise late at night from people who had been drinking, penetrated into the room - do the windows have double-glazing?

Enjoyed the stay with my partner, my sister and cousins. Mark and his wife were lovely hosts very accomodating very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and neat very cosy and comfy. Easy access to the town enjoyed walking around. Overall very organised and we will definately be back. Danielle Ignacio

I loved the size of the room and bathroom, much easier for us to access as disabled tenants. Personal assistance beyond what we expected as well as nice clean motel surrounds.

The layout of the kitchenette and bathroom; both were hidden away from bed / lounge area.

Not knowing how to get the heating on quickly enough as the room was cold and it was a very cold day in Ballarat when we arrived. And I didn't like the shower being over the bath. Maybe ditch the bath altogether and re-do the bathroom.

Very expensive for room which was called a 'family room' but really just another bed added to normal room size - so not very big and a lot extra for the bed!

The Acting Manager was very friendly and made sure that we were well looked after. Nothing was a problem and its nice to have a cheery face to welcome and farewell you.
