Very comfortable, everything a person could need for a great holiday

The outside of the hotel is very simple but it was misleading. The suites were very spacious and very well designed. The bathroom is also large and clean with a jacuzzi which we did not use.

The reception room could be bigger. The hotel does not have a small cafeteria where we can have breakfast in the morning.

They advertise the kitchen having a toaster & microwave but there was no plates or cutlery provided. We did not like the spa either. The armchairs were not very comfortable

It was quiet, it was clean, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the beds were comfortable, the facilities were excellent

the parking was terrible, not enough spaces so we parked in the street one night, some cutlery/crockery in the room would have been handy

The lady that greeted us was lovely. She gave us great tips on local places to dine. We were warmly greeted and welcomed.

Rooms clean and tidy, bed vet comfortable. Excellent spa bath.

No swimming pool, not suitable for summer accommodation. No tv in bed room. Sitting room chairs not comfortable for long term sitting. Needs a couch. No ceiling fan in bed room. Bathroom gets very hot, requires improved exhaust fan system to replace hot air. Two safety features require attention. Door in room 8 to spa bath should open from the other side as I had a serious near miss tripping on the step at night, and falling partially into the spa bath. The second safety issue is the fridge enclosed in the cupboard. It was very hot, so I left the cupboard door open to give it some air flow.

Booking was efficient and all was in readiness on arrival. Clean and attractive.

Bar fridge had several kinds of alcoholic drinks but no wine - the one drink we would have liked.

Booking was easy, friendly staff on arrival, clean room with a separate living area, good lighting in the bathroom.

It was ideal for what we wanted but we were a bit disappointed there was no restaurant. It was advertised as having one and the sign outside still shows a restaurant.

I have stayed at a lot of Motels in my life this motel was well thought out in it's design, heaps of room nice bed lovely spa, I would recommend this Motel to anyone wanting a quality fuss free stay whilst in Ballarat very close to Sovereign Hill simply awesome

The suite with spa bath was first class. Location is near Sovereign Hill gold mines and not far from city centre.
