The desk staff were particularly helpful to us. On top of their warm and friendly attitude they willingly looked after a couple of small bags for us after check out time. Nice room, clean and tidy with a comfortable bed, good bedding and towels - everything you'd expect and more.

There's nothing not to like here!

Room was supposed to be a disabled room but too narrow to manouver a wheel chair and it had a small step between bathroom area and bedroom.

I liked almost everything and would have scored 'excellent' for all questions except for a few minor details that let the Buckingham down. I detailed them in my feedback at the time. The kettle. Impossible to fill from the bathroom tap (no other tap available) had to use a cup which was tedious and time consuming. Buckingham should provide a kettle with a lid that will fit under the tap for filling, or provide a jug that can be filled at the tap and the water transferred to the kettle.

Very quiet, clean rooms. Staff very helpful. Excellent restaurant, staff were very friendly, attentive and food excellent.

Close to eye center and shopping center

Location at rear of property was quiet. Reception staff helpful.

Do not understand the 4 star rating. Bathroom small, especially the shower cubicle. Free Wifi not available so unable to assess its operation.

Very friendly helpful and clean

The whole experience was very good and all the reception and dining room staff were excellent, and rooms were kept spotlessly clean. Free wifi a definite benefit although a bit erratic at times. Good location for getting into the city as tram just around the corner at Highett. Excellent experience would definitely return if we came again.

Breakfast wasn't always the best experience, as one morning the burners went out and it just got cold, and probably the warmth of the food was the case most mornings. Not always a lot in the hot plates, and pastries ran out when a convention was in, would suggest quantities should be reviewed when a higher amount of guests are in. This does not detract from the pleasantness of the dining room staff.

Rooms and cleanliness of a high standard

One room initially provided to member of party was in close proximity to pool area which at the time was extremely noisy. Room changed on request.

Good Location - 5 minutes walk to train station for direct train into Melbourne central. Nice restraunt. Very well fitted out motel style rooms. Free parking and WiFi.

It's well located - try the pizzas around the corner in Highett, and well costed for what it is. Rooms are clean and staff good.

It served our needs nothing to dislike. But the coffee in the restaurant was not the best.

Convenient location close to family and price was fairly reasonable for Melbourne over the Christmas period.

Bar and Restaurant were closed over Christmas period and only advised of this on check in. Housekeeping staff knocked on our door every morning very loudly at 9.15-9.30 - too early for us after very late nights. Renovations going on in rooms not far from us, with one morning power tools going off at 6.55 am. Overall very noisy!
