Very helpful staff. I requested to be moved to another room which was done without problems. I liked the interior of each room, its functionality and cleanliness. The room offered the same conveniences like the Sydney Hilton for much less money. I was given room no 606 which is next to the irritating noise of the lift mechanism. Each time the lift got activated the noise penetrated the room which was very unpleasant. It was better but not gone when I was moved to room 605. |

Closeness to everything, large rooms and comfortable beds. Great value for money Noisy elevator if your room is next to it! |

Although the style look a bit old it is a nice hotel with great rooms and an excellent location The room was a bit cold (we where in Sydney at the begining of May and outside was 20 degrees) and it was not easy to warm it with the air conditioning |

Good location within walking distance from all the best attractions in Sydney, quiet , good room facilities ( kitchen, ironing etc) Nice modern decor with some older charm. Excessive charging for internet. This should be a guest priviledge not an expensive incumberance |

It was clean and comfortable. Not a bad price for city center. Close to everything; shopping, tranportation, pubs, clubs and food. Nice view of Hyde Park. The room is bit too drak even during day time. Have to pay for wifi, unlike in N. America where is free in Best Westerns. |

The ability to make snacks and tea and coffee whenever I wanted using the provided kitchinette with microwave, kettle and toaster. The closeness of the hotel to the central area of Sydney and the surprising quietness of the room. The unexpected free room upgrade was a nice gesture too. The early cleaning start in the hall outside on Sunday morning 9.30am which was somewhat noisy!! Also the 10.00am room clearance time is a bit early 11.00/11.30 would be much nicer. The kitchen could have done with some microwave heating utensils and finally a ring heater in the kitchen would have been a nice addition with a few pans. |

I had arrived a day earlier, however the hotel accomodated my extra day stay and I was even upgraded to a larger suite as I had thus booked for a 7 nite stay just a minor noise nuisance.. The floors are probably made of timber and it resonates guests movements in adjacent rooms and room above |

The hotel is good value for the position however; it lacks quality services sucjh as reliable internet connection and phone service. It was a little bit like Faulty Towers - Nothing wrong with the room except a rock hard bed but the Wireless Internet is awful and the phone service is really bad. The staff tried hard but services were really bad.The receptionist tried really hard - The services such as Internet were non existant. |

Accessibility to city trains and monorail. Short walk to Hyde Park. Hotel costs were reasonable with level of accommodation provided. Excellent washroom facalities. Minimal staff on duty resulted in some delays of service. (ie) front desk clerk was also barman. |

Excellent room. Modern clean and comfortable. Common areas and lobby are scruffy and look 'beat up'. Badly needs new carpets and painting. You have 5 star rooms and 2 star in the rest of the place. |

very good room, big and very convenient. looks rather like a small apartment with a kitchen and all convenient facilities. friendly personnel. there should be more objective information about the hotel. the lobby was very small, the ladder was even scary and overall the hotel looked much more like a apartments to let than a 4 stars hotel. |

Best location in Sydney. Everything is closeby. No cooking facilities to my surprise! Very noisy rooms. Cleaners start at 7 am. They are very niosy and since all doors of all rooms are next to each other in the lobby of the lift, it stays very noisy till 10 am... You definately need earplugs here. |

The location is excellent. Easy for CBD, circular quay, bus access to eastern suburbs and airport It could be a little noisy during the night as its in a very busy area. |
