Unfortunately, the Wifi was not available while we were there, although it was advertised. However, the owner offered us an iPad or a dongle, which we politely declined. Cell reception was fine. We were told that there are a lot of ADSL issues around there.
We stayed for 3 nights in the middle one of the three Chalets to be able to take part in a couple of organised bike rides in the High Country.
We got a courtesy call while we were on the road, reminding us of the stay and enquiring when we will arrive. We briefly met the owners when we arrived and were welcomed warmly. After that, we were pretty much left to ourselves and had no issues with that. The owners left some complementary sparkling wine in the fridge.
The place is VERY quiet (which was good for recovery). You still have to walk / drive to Mount Beauty, as it is a little further outside. If you want a very quiet time, this might be the optimal place - if you want a little more action, somewhere closer to Bright would probably be a bit better, but prices for accommodation in Bright are quite high.
