Got charged 2 dollars extra the first night by booking online for some reason.
Great staff Free wifi :) Short walk from train station and town Good kitchen facilities
Although very close to station you can hear trains rattle though late at night and early morning
Very friendly staff, rooms were spacious, lockers provided.
Bunk beds noisy when the other person moves around. A bit noisy when the train goes past.
internet, laundry, kitchen, place, people, staff
Very good location and helpful staff.
People were not very friendly and the kitchen was not in very clean state.
The friendly staff
Pillow is soft.
Clean, excellent staff, great location!!!!
Room is too close to the street and very noisy. Had a hard time falling asleep
Staff extremely welcoming and helpful. No fuss parking just outside. Huge common room great for family chill out. Great location- quiet at night.
There weren't any negatives. I wasn't expecting 5 star resort, It was cheap accommodation and well surpassed my expectations for the price.
Nice common area and large spacious dorms. Very spacious dorm.
A nice safe place to stay ,I liked the kitchen and free whashers and driers.
Internal bathroom needs a good bleach between tiles and resealed.
It's a backpackers hostel, with all that implies from it.
good location, very cheap
dirty, old, small rooms, toilets lacking of basic supplies
very close, fair price, clean . staff friendly
was not very homely, lounge area felt a bit big and cold, not cozy and not comfortable, very poor furnished
Very comfortable and quiet rooms - and very convenient to catch our 6:30 am train.
near to sightseeing places.
a bit too dark during night times
- great kitchen - free laundry machine + dryer - nice staff - free wifi - lockers - good location (close to the staition and not so far away from the bushwalks/echo point)
- internet really slow due to many users (all the other backpackers)
Big room, good shower, big communal area, handy for restaurants, quiet location, clean and well equipped kitchen.
We were travelling with a 4 year old and were in room number 1 which was near the stairs which lead to reception snd the communal area. Unfortunately we were kept awake from 1am until 4am by noisy guests playing drinking games in the communal area. I'm not sure where the night manager was but nobody seemed to be around to quieter down the group. I know it's a back packers and you could say it was naive of us to expect quiet at night but surely having a family room near the noisiest part of the hostel is a bit daft. It spoiled an otherwise good experience. If I was to return I would request a room away from the stairs.
There was only one person at reception so there was usually a queue every time u went there.
the cleanliness, the friendly staffs, the clean environment and the spacious leisure room and kitchen.
the towel is not provided, the toilet provided only one so we have to queue up in the morning
Room was dusty, it was as if the room had been cleaned then the door was closed for at least a few weeks. Bed was irritable due to dust and I woke up scratching during the night and couldn't sleep. I had to lay my own clothes underneath and cover myself with them to try and calm the skin...it was incredibly itchy. You could say - why didn't we say anything? Had I known I wouldn't have been able to sleep due to waking up and being very itchy I would have said something immediately. Also the front desk is closed over the night, which makes no sense to me either. When I mentioned to the girl at the front the next day that I was sure the room hadn't been opened in weeks she agreed and said it was very probable. I know it was a hostel but we were on the last room on one wing, and you could hear people walking and talking a mile away. But believe me hearing the odd drunk person was the least of my worries though I was surprised that the sound travelled so much. Again this pales in comparison to waking up because you feel like something is eating at your skin. The bathroom felt literally like a jail cell, and there wasn't even a rack to hold the soap. Seriously, just go and buy a suction cap rack so people have somewhere to place your 50c cake of soap. The towels were left neatly criss-crossed on the bed at the time it was cleaned - so were as dusty as the bed. This is hands down the WORST hostel I've stayed in anywhere in the world. Absolutely shocking and it was the only downside to a great weekend away. From the photos the room looked very inviting, but they look and feel like absolute ______(insert word here) I'm confident that even if the room had been cleaned prior to us getting there the amount of dust mites in that bed would have still made it a nightmare. Put some sun on that bed FFS and get rid of those mites/bugs.
Here is an hostel who doesn't act like 5 star hotel, the wifi is free, the washers and dryers are free, they don't charge you like mad over every little thing. Fully equipped kitchen and a nice lobby to sit around, chat, eat and meet nice people. Very close to town, about 20 minutes walk from the 3 sisters.
the Wifi gets a bit dodge on the higher floors, but they have an internet room with computers free to use... and since the Wifi was free, who am I to really complain
Situated dirtectly next to the train station, 30 min by food to 'echo point'. Very clean facilities, a big kitchen and common room.
5 min walk from train station, warm enough and have large common area and kitchen. we live in a 12-bed room which is in the first floor just near the reception. The bedroom is clean and the bathroom is inside the bedroom. Each person have a bed and a locker, the hotel also provide pillow and quilt. overall, this hotel is really good for young people to stay.
the hotel is a little far from the three sisters, about 20min walk, but there is a lot of restaurant and shops near by.
The family room was clean and plenty of room. The linen and bathroom was clean also.
We wanted to use the bbq area, but it was not clean at all. The bbq was extremely dirty .
