The location was great, within walking distance to the markets, shops, restaurants and darling harbour. I was not told that a bond was being taken off my credit card, they did this without my permission. They were also extremely slow with refunding the bond as it took over a week. |

The Hotel was very convenient for the Quay area and the boats for trips in the harbour, close to the famous bridge and the Opera House, and the Rocks area. The free bus is great! The entrance off George Street is very awkward for people with heavy cases, because of the steps. Also our en-suite bathroom had a toilet that was almost unusable because of the close proximity of the bathroom wall! |

Location Hotel lifts were broken for most of day, casued delays with our trip. Doors on the stairs would not open when we used them instead of the lift, casued more dealys and inconvenence to us. Staff would not take a cash deposit and needed my credit card which had its daily limit maxed out as I was shopping because the check in time was too late in the day. I used my credit card the following day and got my cash back but when checking out I was told that I have to wait 3-5 days for my refund, why cant you do it straight away as I had to with my credit card? This inconvencenced me even more. Also there was construction work across the road from our room which woke me up every morning, I needed my sleep and this inconvencened me even more. |

The hotel's position was excellent: handy for the railway station and all other public transport, and right in the thick of things for Sydney. Our rooms were excellent, spacious and comfortable. We will certainly consider the Breakfree highly for our next stay in Sydney. We thought the breakfast was a bit of a let-down, especially at the price ($15 per head for some cereal, juice/coffee etc and a rather mean plate of basic English) |

Found the staff very helpful Would like to see brochures in the rooms for different attractions instead of having to use reception for bookings show what your city has to offer |

It wasn't about the hotel as such but I booked using booking.com and it did not state at all that a $100 deposit additional to the full price was mandatory upon arrival. we do not have a lot of money and the extra $100 was going to be a problem if our son had not paid for us. my experience with hotels is that an inprint is made of the credit card and if there is a requirement for money to be used it is taken from that. you should consider either making sure that all your hotel requirements are stated on alternative accommodation booking sites so that your guests know what is required of them at the time of booking so there are no surprises at check in. |

It is located in a vibrant part of Sydney and within a short walking distance to Darling Harbour and the central shopping district in and around George Street. |

Good kitchen and great to have 2 bathrooms in the room. Excellent location. Quite noisy all night from people talking (above). Also fire alarm went off twice in the morning. Would recommend another shared bathroom downstairs in reception as twice during our stay we wanted to get changed (before checkin and before going back to the airport) and the bathroom was occupied. We waited at least 15 minutes both times and still never got to use it. Otherwise it was great. |

Great central location. Close to restaurants and shops. On this occasion the lifts weren't working correctly so there were often long waits. |

Very accessible to nearly all key areas of interest in Sydney. Great location for restaurants and the market. It needs to have better arrangements with nearby car parks. The only car park it has an arrangement with was full the night we arrived. That meant we had to find a car park much further away and at a higher price. Also the area on Sussex street to drop off could be made more user friendly. |

Convenient location - handy to all transport options, Darling Harbour, Haymarket. Rooms were well appointed and clean and quiet. Would recommend. There was a fire alarm and though it was a false alarm the staff assistance/information was non-existent. |
