Bridgewater Terraces  

The staff were very helpful,the bed was comfortable & the views were lovely.The internet connection was provided free due to our various problems. We were allowed to check in early & the unit was 3 bed when we had only booked a 2 bed. The grounds and the pool looked really nice although we didn't use the pool ourselves.Very convenient for the free ferry into the city.

When we arrived the lift was broken and had been for quite some time, it was eventually fixed on the 3rd day of our stay which made it difficult to get the bags up 3 floors from the garage. The unit was very breathless, didn't get any breeze so we had to use the AC all the time, this was quite noisy. One of the patio doors wouldn't open, several of the windows appeared to be locked so we couldn't open them, the exhaust fan in the kitchen sounded like a broken truck when it was running, the washing machine wouldn't work initially & then did work but leaked water from the drum so it kept having to refill instead of washing. The dishwasher couldn't be used as it had electrical wires hanging inside the dishwasher.

The Bridgewater complex itself was lovely - it's just the unit we stayed in was quite unclean and needs a lot of attention. I would recommend the complex to other travellers but not if they were to be booked in room 4025.

The kettle was very old and dirty and the lid of it would not close properly. The owner could buy a new one from Kmart or Target for $15. The microwave is very old and the ceiling of it is peeling. There was no sticker on it to show that it had been tested and it looks as if it is very dangerous (I.E. would leak radiation) to use. The inside of the washing machine was filthy and I had to pull the filter part out, soak it scrub it and put a hot wash through the machine with disinfectant before I could use it. The base of the shower screens in both bathrooms were filthy. The disk rack was filthy, old and rusty. The ironing board needs a new cover - it was leaving imprints on our clothes. The griller and oven had not been cleaned (so I didn't use them). The range hood over the stove was coated in oil - filthy. There were uneven numbers of cutlery and dinnerware. The dish brush in the kitchen was filthy and old (I threw it away). The airconditioner seems to need a service - it was whirring as if it was working to hard. There were no tongs for cooking with - I had to buy some. The can opener was useless. The fan in the main bedroom only worked on high speed - the other settings did not work. There is a possible drainage issue as there were suds bubbling up out of the floor in the laundry when we were using the washing machine. The bed covers in both rooms were filthy and stained. The light fittings near the air conditioning ducts are coated in dust. The mat on the dining table is old and dirty. The tap base and the toilet roll holder in the main bedroom ensuite are loose. The lower rack in the other bedroom cupboard kept falling out of the wall. There was no vacuum cleaner or mop for incidental spills. The weights in the gym need a service (or at least a bit of wd-40). There was no plug to fit the large basin in the kitchen sink.

The lack of basics for cooking in a family unit eg salt, pepper, oil, flour etc. The room being serviced, stayed 7 days never serviced.

Need refurbishing very badly. Bathrooms have mould, aircon in lounge leaks water, kitchen needs to be updated for the price they charge, very poor maintentance.

Location easy access to Brisbane city centre etc via ferries.

Close proximity to WACA - attended cricket ! Our party consisted of 4 men, so the 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom unit was terriific.

We were a family group and rented two appartments. The thee bedroom appt. was ideal for a group of people to come and go and the wonderful view of the river was relaxing; much appreciated by my elderly father. The beds in our appartment were found to be extremely comfortable by everyone. The place was clean and the facilities were adequate for a family getting together from Melbourne to Townsville, for a wedding.

It would have been good to have pamphlets or information on ferries, and places to eat or get takeaway meals. There was a fair bit of to and fro to the security gate to let famly members not staying in the main flat in. Was there a means of letting people in with the security key pad?

As a base camp for our activities it was excellent. The apartment was spacious with a small garden and great view of the river. The underground parking and on-site pool where a god send.

The gym was of a low standard and no in room wi-fi.

A good location and would book again.

Very pleasant. Will bookmark for future stays in brisbane. Gardens and pool really nice. Unit we were in had a good view of the river.

Le cadre est tres agreable, vue degage sur la river et donc sans vis a vis jardin ravissant tres bien entretenu. Cadre calme et tres reposant. PIeces bien amenage et apart fonctionnel

Pas assez de vaisselle disponible. Manque de commerces à proximité.

Appartement confortable et bien équipé et surtout trés bien situé. Petit bémol : piscine non chauffée.

Position and room size are excellent. Self-catering is easy in room but could do with more barbeques.

Toilet cleaning was poor and dishwasher needs a freshness product run through.

Very quite place and convinence to city

The location was wonderful - amazing views from our apartment. The complex was peaceful and quiet. The apartment was spatious and well designed

the location was fabulous and the views from the Terraces amazing. Rooms were clean and tidy although the decor could of been a little more modern.

Not much- room could of been a little more modern with some more contempoary furnishings. New kitchen and bathrooms impressive.

Location was great. Lovely 3 bedroom apartment.Laundry facilities in unit was great.

The room which we stayed in faced the river east so in the mornings in November we were awake at 5 am. Not much fun when you are on holidays and able to sleep in. Some curtains over the blinds would easily fix this.
