The room we stayed in the noise from the showers was very loud and woke us up every morning at 3am. The when we were moved on our third day after complaining we did not have any where to hang our towels, no jug or tea and coffee. If this had been our first stay I would not recommend it after this experience. On previous stays I would have said it was value for money but on my last stay it was not value for money.

Good location, good value for money if you don't mind compromising on space, hygiene. Lack of cleanliness - fridge had used stuff in it, shower had hair and remnants of soap in it, bathroom floor doesn't look like it's been swept in a long time. A bit noisy - but I didn't mind that.

Excellent location with a lovely view of the old museum and easy access to the facilities of fortitude valley. The covered terrace is a lovely place to have a drink or a meal. Lots of wood and quirky old things in the public parts with a well-equipped kitchen. It was nice to have coffee, tea, milk and water in the room. Nothing important.

The comfortable rooms, private bathroom, staff. Kitchen, pleasant indoor and outdoor eating areas , umbrella for hire, proximity to Tivoli and China town , the cat. Misleading to feature the historic brick mansion across the road in internet advertising - we thought that was where we would be staying!

I was given different than Wat I actually booked the gal thought c was smart telling me I was upgraded, I was so tired of Long day and wanted to sleep only to wake up all sweating as I couldn't open any door. Or window too low and dangerous. I went to request for any better but got 1 old hardly working fan . I had to spend a night so went to sleep but started feeling funny ,couldn't believe my eyes when actually saw like 10-15 bed bugs re on the blanket.... I just nearly cried in Brisbane capital city of QLD I had this experience. But the night staff though he wasn't polite put somewhere better , couldn't sleep well thinking those red bed bugs but wat an adventure.....I now think Wat 'd u do had I book for whole 2 weeks ,I don't want to complain anywhere but think twice before biking cheap accommodation in Brisbane i think the receptionist thought I deserve that ,I was too busy all day and tired and having panadol since that nite. Thank you Brisbane manor for having me for that nite.

The closeness to where we had to conduct our buisness. We were not impressed with the take-away meal that we ordered from the Thai restruant at Milton as one of the dishes could not be eaten because it tasted simply "FOUL".

Nice single room with sink. Good bed and balcony was nice as well. Free wifi, yay! Location was a bit away from everything and the Manor is up a steep hill, so you need to be fit to walk things.

Closeness to city, China Town, Showground and RBWH & Childrens Hospitals - walking distances. Communal Dining & cooking facilities, lounge & television area at front - a great area to relax with a drink, and they are licenced as well. Rooms comfortable & clean with fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Haven't found anything yet that we didn't like and we have stayed at least twice a year for a number of years now, coming down from Hervey Bay for medical treatment nearby as well as the yearly caravan show.

The Staff, Staff and the Staff. The owner and the reception girls were very friendly and helpful. They allowed me to check in earlier and also did some shopping for me like shavin foam etc. very very helpful staff. Also the communal kitchen was a plus. I would consider staying there again Honestly can't complain. Very helpful and cooperative staff ;-)

To be honest, I love to stay there, first of all there is arriving time was 2 pm. But because of my request they put me in at 8. am, they lookafter me because I was very tired and arrived in Brisbane at 6 am. Before my arriving my room and key was ready. And room was perfect for stay. 2Nd in that amount everything include, like WiFi unlimited, clean bathroom with soap and full of toilet rolls, comfortable bed, fridge and even in the room there were sink. I will suggest to my all friends and everybody who want to go to Brisbane stay in Brisbane Manor, so you can save your valuable money.
