the room was spacious with nice view of stony bridge, lighting up whole night. Enjoyed very much of the river view Swimming pool was locked in the morning. I had to go to reception every morning for a week to open the door. Someone from the hotel tried to charge 16,000 $ on my credit card and I had to deal with my credit company. International phone call to my credit company for 10 minite costed me about 150 AUD. No one apologised from the hotel until I demanded it. |

The executive room facilities, and amenities were extremely good value for money. The staff in the executive lounge were helpfull, polite and attentive - couldn't fault them. The glass in the pool that I cut my foot on. Not a fault of the hotel staff on duty but when I reported it I thought they would have been more concerned. |

The beds at Hotel Brisbane Marriott must have been the best about my stay. The food. They just never would listen to what I told them over the phone. If I asked for mayonese, I got ketchup. If I asked for well-done meat, I got rare. Also; try asking for crispy BACON...apparantly they've never heard about it |

The elevator worked well. The internet worked well. We had to change rooms because the 'expensive' TV system was not functioning properly,especially CNN sound quality was bad the and theTV would switch off automatically in the middle of a purchased movie. Pool and Spa area, I understand that there was maintenance going on at the Jacuzzi site, but no effort was made to separate the 'workers' from the pool side. The Jacuzzi was greasy and sticky and dirty. The roomservice was good but the food itself is below standard, I ordered a Rump Steak at the Marriott which was like a "shoe sole". When we wanted to check out at 5AM in the morning it took 30min to print out our Bill. We had a plane to catch. As the payment was taken out of our credit card the wrong amounts were charged to our credit card |

I liked the bed, and bed linen. The actual room was lovely and the hotel itself was impressive. I was very disappointed with the state of the pool. They should have closed it as the area was under construction. Instead they kept it open and it wasn't heated so you couldn't swim in it anyway. Plus there was construction grit all around the pool which you could feel when you walked around it. I purposely chose the Marriot for the pool as we were planning on using it with our 3 year old son as a great place for entertaining him. Upon check out too, one of the staff on reception tried to charge us for breakfast though it was included in our booking. She then didn't believe us and we had to produce the email that we'd received from bookings.com. The impression she gave us was that she was reluctant to accept even this as proof! |

The room was comfotable and the bed was excellent. The view was stunning and it was close proximity to other failities. The breakfast service was extremely poor including staff having to be asked for a bread plate and cutlery. I would not recommend the food service. |
