The room view and the asian cup teams and staff walking around
The day spa is a let down and over priced
Staff were all delightful and very helpful. Bed was so comfortable I could have stayed in it for days! Room service excellent - good food, quick, again delightful staff
Bathroom was a bit tired, more so than rest of the room
Overall good place
Bed sheets dirty
Helpful and friendly staff. Rooms and beds great. Good eating options Great location
Great fun hotel
Pool a little old and no change rooms other than toilets.
Helpful staff Convenient location
Quality was evident but not sufficient to warrant the pricing. $9 for 1 litre of water - when you pay $245 per night surely you are entitled to expect parking for less than $46, if not free? Booked here by mistake but decided to treat myself. Could not justify eating here though. Would probably have rated much higher if I could have really afforded to stay here.
the buffet breaksfast
The location. The service. The furnishings. The toiletries. It really lives up to the Sofitel name. The staff bent over backwards to help me organise a courier service for an important document and I was blown away by their dedication to getting it done. This is the only place to stay in Brisbane. Worth every dollar.
I was only in town for 2 days. Wished I stayed longer.
Nice and clean
Parking 45 dollars booking.com didn't mention this before I booked.
Was upgraded, which was a lovely bonus on a busy night. Also free flat white coffees at breakfast, a real bonus as other hotels make u pay, if you don't have the normal percolated coffee. Room service was prompt. The breakfast selection and size was excellent, one of the best.
Location, service, food and the beds are extremely comfortable
Staff were very pleasant and helpful Bed felt very luxurious Public areas attractive and luxurious Gym well appointed, pleasant, great view Restaurant food delicious
Hidden cost of parking $55 a day Facilities pool, spa, bathrooms etc look a bit dated
Staff all so very helpful beyond call of duty Situation so convenient for people like ourselves without cars. .Good food good coffee
Left blank on purpose
Bed was great. Close to Central Station and CBD.
The rooms were old and in need of a fresh coat of paint. I wasn't overwhelmed considering the cost to stay. My room rate had breakfast included when I booked on booking.com however they made no mention or offer to provide it at checkin or elsewhere - disappointing.
We loved the comfy bed & pillows the most! The list of movies and shows on the TV was great!! Breakfast was absolutely the greatest value for money with such variety! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and kick back while being so close to shops in Queen st.
Comparatively to the two places we stayed at over the weekend, both 5 star, the room was smaller.
The beds feel like sleeping on a cloud, so comfortable you never want to leave them.
the whole package was just great.
The bathroom is outdated and needs to be upgraded. Paid for an upgrade and was no better off except some pods as someone who stays regularly paid too much.
Concierge was useless actually had to bring our own bags from the vehicle. Injured my knee 40min after arriving staff were unhelpful during the whole stay. Disappointed this is poor reflection on the high global sofitel standard. Tacky price tags on the water
Quiet, great breakfast!
Mattress a little too soft
The king bed was great for my tall partner. The shower was perfect and everything was very clean and the view was good. Staff were very helpful and professional
Staff gracious and helpful; wonderfully comfortable bed and pillow; great location for an inner-city stay.
Carpets need to be replaced/refreshed in room and throughout hotel.
The staff here are great, the rooms are well kept, quiet, and dark if you want them to be. Parking is good onsite and it is very convenient to Central Brisbane.
Make sure to upgrade your pillow as the standard ones are fairly thin (there is the option to get a firmer one though). On the day we were there a huge wedding party got to breakfast just before us, so when faced with a 30min wait to be seated we left and had breakfast around the corner at a cafe (not really the hotel's fault that but it did happen)
