Very welcoming staff, nice facilities including kitchen, laundry, bar, pool.. The family room was very clean and comfortable. Although is a little far from downtown, they offer rides. Free wifi.

AC and fans barely worked, during Summer in Cairns... 30 minute walk to the city center, cockroaches in the room.

All beds in one room is not suitable for traveling with older teenage children. Aircon didn't go but fans were ok. Included breakfast was very basic. ie no option for toast or anything other than cereal. Also linen but no bedding supplied. It was hot enough that it wasn't a problem but a blanket or two would have been nice. Probably a good place for younger people traveling but I wouldn't stay there with a family again.

Very cheap, clean, friendly place.

Mattress was a bit lumpy. Few things in room needed updating but for price all good.

Room was clean. Excellent value for money- very reasonable. Nice friendly staff, very helpful! Pizzas were excellent.

Tap in bathroom leaked a bit and was a bit loose but we didn't mind as the price had been so good.

The location was good for our purpose.

The parking was difficult - It was described online as more of a luxury hotel/motel style accom, and was def a backpackers hangout. When we arrived we were given a room with 5 Beds, but no bedding. Then I inquired at reception and was given 2 very small blankets and array of mis matched sheets.... I told the clerk, (who was very nice) that I had 2 small children with me needing to get warm on this winters night and that this would not be sufficient..so he kindly gave me 4 more sheets to use as blankets. Luckily one of my daughters had left a sleeping bag in the car from a previous trip so we were able to share that...The price was more than our usual stay at the Cairns Colonial Inn which includes a full buffet breakfast. The room also had no towels or soap in the bathroom. Prob wont stay again.

Overpriced for such a sparse room

navette mise a disposition des residents a certaines heures pour aller en ville car un peu loin du centre. bonne acceuil et renseignement. piscine et bar a dispo aux heures d'ouverture. prix interressant pour cette chambre de six pour une chambre a trois demandée.

propreté de la cuisine laissant a desirer (peut etre variable en fonction des residents), peu de vaisselle a dispo et refectoire minuscule.

Al llegar, encontramos las sábanas usadas de los clientes anteriores. Los servicios estaban sucios. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba y el calor en la habitaciónera sofocante. Todo el hotel está descuidado y sucio.Aunque el precio és económico las desventajas són muchas y es un hotel impresentable. El peor hotel que he estado en mi vida.

Detta är inte ett hotell. Det är ett backpacker-ställe och inget annat. Jag tycker inte det är fel med ett backpacker-ställe men det ska tydligt stå i "reklamen". Vi skulle få ett familjerum (vi var 3 personer) men det vi fick var ett rum med en dubbelsäng, en tvåvåningssäng och 2 vanliga sängar och inget annat. Jag tycker alltså att om ni ska ha "hotellet" kvar i er bokning ska det tydligt stå vad det är.

La ubicación.

Como estaba lleno aunque nosotros teníamos reserva hecha x internet nos mandaron a otro complejo q pertenece al backpackers. Es un motel en el centro de la ciudad. La habitación estaba sucia, había olor y la alfombra estaba mojada. El baño muy básico, din jabón pero con toallas. La heladera deteriorada y en las paredes unas manchas muy raras que mejor no saber de que eran.... La chica de la recepsion muy amable y predispuesta. Habíamos pagado por una noche en el backpackers porque tenía cocina, desayuno e internet incluido. Al pasarnos a este motel, nada de eso había así que la relación precio/calidad al final malísima. Sin duda hay otros mejores en Cairns.

I stayed there the night before the eclipse so the price was higher than it is usually. Wasn't worth the price I paid ! Quite old buildings, shower etc Far from the center as well.

Mir hat am Cairns Beach House nicht gefallen.

Das Angebot des Cairns Beach House auf Booking.com war falsch. Es wurden Bilder eingestellt und Angaben gemacht, die man im Objekt nicht findet. Kein kostenloser Shuttleservice vom Flughafen zum Hotel, kein Schreibtisch, keine Sitzecke, kein Flachbildschirm. An Sauberkeit fehlte es auch, Bettwäsche war mit Flecken. Nachdem ich das Zimmer gesehen habe, wollte ich sofort stornieren. Das ging nach Aussagen des Angestellten nicht. Ich sehe das als absoluten Betrug an!!! Auf Nachfrage von Booking.com wurde vom Hotel gelogen! Es ist ein Hostel für Menschen mit Nullanspruch.
