Good location, friendly staff, very helpful and we were upgraded to a Superior Pool View Room on arrival. Gym facilities are good and pool is perfect to relax by! Buffet breakfast had a wide variety of food also. Central in town, close walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars and the esplanade.

I notice when I book through you that I am always given rooms a long way from the elevators right down the end of corridors. Also I am given second grade rooms.

Close to everything. The best pool ever with sandy lagoon and sitting tables around. Very refreshing after the long hot day... Breakfast was good, in addition to traditional choices (cold and hot) included some unconventional dishes tailored to Asian tourists. Staff was helpful and efficient. Having tour desk that was open until late was very helpful as we arrived in the evening, but were able to book the next day trip to the reef on site. Mattress was too soft for me. But apparently most of other hotels we stayed during our trip to Australia have the same problem, may be they just have different standards?

The location was good. I did not go in the pool but it looked good. Breakfast was also good. Im made reservation with name of Novote. It is one of the excellent chain and I have stayed with them in Boston and other locations. This hotel has nane of Novote but it was third grade hotel in terms of maintainance of dinning areas, bar, but most importataly rooms. Beds were too ,too soft and they would not change it . It must be 10 years ols matresses.Bathrooms were third grade. And we had too clean dinning tables to seat for breakfast.Their mattrases were so soft that I had to sleep on the floor. This is unacceptable as we pay for high price rooms for good sleep and mostly travel to see things during day. I am seasoned traveller and have not seen good name hotel so deteriorated. I am writting this with my time but they should return my money or give me vouchers to stay at other better locations. They should also send hotel review auditors to check premises to upgrade as this hotel is detiriorating the good Novotel name.

It was close to all shops and seaside The fact that when I booked with book.com it was for 3 adults for which I had confirmed with Novotel 3 times but when arrived was charged another $86 for 3rd person 1st holiday in 8 yrs to get ripped off disappointing wont book thru book.com or stay there again & all because I couldn't remember the 3 people's names that I confirmed booking with.

The beds were great. Some staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool is a plus. Surly staff. Broken bin in the bathroom - really broken. The breakfast is not as good as it used to be. The coffee was a disappointment. Tv didn't work and we were in bed and it was late, so didn't want staff in room because we thought it was probably remote batteries. Foreign tourists who were pushy and arrogant.

Stayed there for 4 nights. Very good customer service and it's location which is near to Esplanade area, restaurants etc. Love the calm relaxing atmosphere of the resort and also sound of joys from families playing in the pool, the pool with sand beach is beautiful. Service desk and travel desk are very helpful. Had really wonderful time there. Some part of resort is near to mango trees and lots of bats reside on these trees. First room we stayed is next to these trees and abit disturbed by smells and noise of bats in the morning. However, after spoken to helpdesk immediately they find the next available room and relocate us. I think some ppl don't mind but it just me that I am bit scare seeing that many bats.

Great location, very comfortable. All modern. It really depends on which room you are getting. Stayed there twice. Main building , sea view, is just great. Side building, street view, with a long walk to and from the room is noisy and annoying.
