very nice room and hotel, in a quiet place but very close of town center. Very good hotel to spend 1 or 2 days in cairns to prepare the way to the north queensland |

Good location, close to shops and esplanade area. The room was nicely refurbished, but the bathroom was still old (but clean and tidy). The pool area looked good but it was raining so we didn't get to use it. Free wifi in the lobby and free internet in the room (with a cable from reception) but in-room was not working at th time so we went to the lobby. Slight mixup with payment (i thought booking.com was taking payment, but apparently they didn't and the hotel wanted the payment). Also, we arrived early and they kindly looked after our bags and said they would call our mobile when the room was ready, but they didn't call us. |

The only good words i can say about this hotel is that it was close to the Reef Terminal where we caught our ferry out to the reef the following morning. On arrival i asked if they still did cheap movie tickets for locals (people who live in Cairns) and they said yes so i paid $20 cash for 2 tickets so i could take my daughter, visiting from interstate, to the movies that afternoon, we didnt go but on checking out this hotel said i never paid and wanted another $20 for them which i refused to pay, in the end i gave them the movie tickets back. I could tell that they didnt believe that i had already paid, they asked me for a receipt for the tickets but i was never given one. So seeing as i live in Cairns and i have a lot of interstate visitors the Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort, will never see me back there, any of my local friends there and definately none of my interstate visitors staying ther |

Friendly staff, good location to where I want to be, good facilitiesthough need a spa or the like. When booking my room, my credit card details were taken by the hotel. Hotel should have reconfirmed this issue when I checked in - have forgotten this as booking was done awhile back and no longer using the credit card. I asked for a copy of the bill (room) but was given one covering the meals which I paid for the meals when I checked out. But not the room bill. |

the bed, and the departure after check out, because check out was during almost 1 hour. (many people, 5 staffs at the desk, but only 2 were working!!) toilet dirty, room very dusty, and corridor very very dirty!! And this is a 4 star hotel? This must be a joke! Please, booking com., answer me, why the hotel take my money by reservation. We said we want to pay in cash, but the money was just away from my credit card!!!!! And in the description was nothig about prepaid!!!!!! |

The surroundings and atmosphere were outstanding, the food and price was a good value and the room outfitting were excellent Slightly understaffed for bookings and cleaning, found small areas of dust overlooked, not a big deal but noticable. Food good but well overpriced. |

My daughter loved this hotel. Walking distance to everything we needed. Night Market, Ship to Barrier Reef, Restaurants, Shopping. The hotel is clean, modern and very upgraded. Our room was large and beds were both comfortable. Had a balcony also. Pool was large and very clean. We really liked this hotel. A plus - free internet to the States. |

De ligging net buiten het centrum, de faciliteiten (prachtig zwembad, fitness, internet in de hal, restaurant). kamerpersoneel was niet erg zorgvuldig (liet een toegangspasje achter in onze kamer, verving wasgoed niet), het baliepersoneel was nogal onbeholpen en beide creditcards werkten niet bij het betalen |

Lo unico destacable del hotel es su situacion pues su decoracion es muy sosa tanto en las zonas comunes como en las habitaciones que siendo correctas son demasiado austeras. Habia un cierto grado de abandono en las zonas comunes del hotel,detalles como sillones gastados y un tanto sucios te sorprenden en un hotel del grupo accord ademas del hecho de que el desayuno era un tanto caro para lo que ofrecian. |
