There was no wifi in the room. The shower temperature would fluctuate when another tap was used. The TV is over 20 years old.

We have stayed there several times now,and have had noo trouble with service,staff and it is on the Esplanade and also my family were impressed too. The bathrooms could be spruced up a little,this is all I have to say, on ,another successful stay there.

I loved the friendly, efficient staff who really tried their best to make me feel comfortable in their hotel. I also enjoyed the fact that it was so close to the beach along the esplanade, yet not close to all the noise! The restaurant poor things just didnt have the customers,it was a bit like an ' '80's style dining thing which people don't really want these days, because we all went out for dinns each night which most people do, perhaps if it was more like a bistro style might work better?......just sayin'

Good but better to have a beach front balcony room and higher floor. Good priced breakfast and friendly & helpful staff. We would strongely recommend family members and friends for their future stay when visiting Cairns. Cheers! Andy

Clean spacious room and bathroom, very close to eateries, shops and entertainment. The hotel has an "older" look but is very new on inside. It' s very close to large kids playground which would be perfect for those with young children. Hotel is right on Esplanade next to all the restaurants and eateries. Plenty of parking and fast lift. Friendly staff! WiFi only available on ground and 1st floor and around pool and deck area.

The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Although we ate a full cooked breakfast in the restaurant, the food was delivered 'warm' (even the eggs) and on cold plates. Not vey enjoyable. However, our light evening meal on night 2 was fantastic. (We chose to dine elsewhere with friends on night 1 of our two nights at this hotel).

We had an early flight out of Cairns on Friday morning so wanted a night in Cairns without spending a fortune but still within walking distance to the restaurants etc. We liked the location, the woman at check in was very friendly and efficient, the room was fine. It isn't the Ritz, however, the bed was comfortable and it had all the amenities we wanted.
