Staff were friendly and very helpful and friendly. Makes me wanna come back again for holidays and stay there.
Nothing really. Eveeything was excellent
Loved the pool, small but inviting after a day out in the heat. Room was large, bed queen size and comfi.
No bar. 15 minute walk to nearest supermarket and liquor store in 40C heat. Nearest restaurants and bars are also a 15 minute walk. Air conditioning set at 23C! Breakfast was a range of cereals and toast or you can pay extra for a full breakfast. Advised not to walk past the park on returning to the hotel at night and to take a taxi instead. Safe didn't work. We had to call the receptionist on three occasions so we could retrieve our wallet, on day three of five they repaired the fault..
mainly close to to cbd shops & seafront etc
The only thing I found strange they will pick up from Airport with their Bus but not from the train station which is not far away.
Lovely staff. Nice clean comfy rooms with TV. Free breakfast. Nice pool.
location is not far away from Center, nice and helpful staff
breakfast is too simple
My husband and I arrived at 6am off a Greyhound bus and although the receptionist was in at this time and we had emailed ahead to say we would be arriving early, she left us locked outside to sit on the ground at the front of the hotel. When she came outside to put her signs out, she said in a smug tone that we could not get in the establishment until 6.30. By the time 6.30 rolled around, she let us in and when we asked if our room was ready she said no and that we would have to go away and come back at 1.30pm, although at 6.30am in Cairns I am not sure where she expected us to go, never mind the fact we were both clearly shattered. So we asked if we could take another room and pay some money towards it, at which point she seemed to find the exact same standard of room free, but decided to charge us for a full night stay. And to top it all off with a horrible attitude she laughed that we probably wouldn't be able to get a sleep with people checking out...this is the worst attitude I have ever come across from someone working in hospitality
breakfast in the beautiful garden
receptionist lied to me about our room saying it had been used overnight after. I had been shown the room the previous day as a deposit had appeared on my statement as is your policy. next day we had to wait even though the room was made up.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean and tidy. I have already booked a room to stay in a couple of weeks time on my return.
Queens court has everything you would need for a basic comfortable visit to Cairns. The room was clean and set up well with TV, AC, frig, and desk. It had a great shower and clean bathroom. It's nice to be offered breakfast in the morning. The staff was very helpful in answering any questions I had.
The only problem I had was that the reception area hours were cut off early. Though the directions for check in after hours were very clear, there was no one to ask questions about nearby food options or to access Wi-Fi off hours.
The staff at Queens Court did above and beyond what was required. They were so friendly, welcoming, helpful, passionate and informative they completely made our week stay wonderful:) The rooms were basic, but extremely clean and adequate for what you need. Queens Court is super value for money!!!
The staff were lovely
We've been travelling for over 3 months mainly in hostels. Our room was just under $70 a night and was uncomfortable and looked like a prison cell. It's not as if we are fussy we expected more especially from a so called hotel. Save money and get a shared dorm in a hostel it'll be a lot nicer
Everything, nothing to complain about
Maybe a little bit far from the Laggon, restaurants and Cairns Central Shopping Centre, but if you don't mind to walk a couple blocks more location is not that bad
The staff are very friendly and helpful. I'm planning to go back to Cairns with my girlfriend and I'll definitely stay there.
The breakfast does not change, it's the same every day.It is not bad though (it's for free). However, they offer a better breakfast and you have to pay for it which is reasonable!
Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Loved your dog
The hotel is nice and has all that you need during a stay in Cairns
The bathrooms are very small, there was only one shower on the floor
very helpful and friendly staff air-con that worked effectively and fairly quietly welcome pool
Very accommodating staff. Information freely given, additional bookings happily done.
No wavering from absolute checkout time. Climate control in room during the wet season needs individual control by occupant.
good price for a short stay only
room small, reception closed after 7pm
wasn't clear that the bathroom was shared and my on line booking recept showed wifi was included but it wasn't
The breakfast was great nice a quiet friendly staff clean nice pool
It was a bit away from town
Free airport pick up, great quiet air con, free breakfast, nice and clean, fair location quite close to town
Room cou.d have been a bit more colourful
The price was very resonable, nice bbq area .
Pool was a bit grubby, netted some leaves out myself and saw another guest bitten by a swimming beetle. No wi fi signal in our room. A fair walk to main esplanade and shops.
Breakfast option was very less
Very comfortable Room Helpful staff Well-located
Could have more variety in breakfast
Staff were incredibly helpful and the hotel was great.
