Quiet away from Cairns central centrally located great room great staff
glass screen on shower need to be much wider so that water does not go all over floor
Very clean and the bed was comfortable.
Noise from the street was very loud
loved the pool and breakfast and the room
no secure parking eg behind locked fence
Apartment was clean and comfortable - reasonably priced /value for money. Kitchen equipment/utensils etc were very good
Awkward position of sink in the kitchenette Two king single beds connected together made for a big bed but not all that comfortable Breakfast downstairs at Steak on the Lake was convenient but that's all, the food was quite pricey for what it was & not particularly good, and the staff were quite rude and unhelpful.
I enjoyed the location with convenient shops and a beautiful walk into town.
Very firm bed and night noise on the weekend from neighbours.
The wifi didn't work at all following an upgrade the week before
No internet, old and run down , poor room seevice
Nice staff; spacious room with place to sit for breakfast
Internet was not working in our rooms. Our rooms have adjacent doors and therefor ist was quite noisy from the neighbours.
For a more senior couple without a car we were a little out of the main centre, but we managed. It was all very good
Receptions excellent with knowledge of surrounding areas for visiting guests.
Uncofortable bed, bad breakfast, no privacy - the rooms are faceing a really big busy road.
Location is good, room was very spacious, well appointed and clean. Parking, pool and good breakfast.
We had a kitchen in our room which was very convenient and could also order food from the restaurant. Pool was clean and not busy.
I had quite a bad allergic reaction and I'm not sure why. I am allergic to cats and dust so my guess is the ventilation system must have been dirty. It made my stay quite unpleasant as it was hard for me to leave the hotel. I would recommend if you have dust allergies not to stay here.
The first 2 days were in the front wing: excellent room, spacious, clean, modern & comfortable; it was quiet, so we slept very well. Two weeks later, we stayed again. This time we were in the older, not yet refurbished wing, which had kitchen facilities. While it was good, it wasn't up to the excellent quality of the new wing. Dinner in the restaurant both nights was just fabulous. The staff were wonderful - very helpful, friendly, lovely. We will stay again.
Very noisy corridors - all movement with luggage was heard in the whole hotel, which woke me up several times before 7 am. Rooms could do with a proper clean
Friendly helpful staff who went out of their way to be helpful. We were most impressed as they supplied towels for us to take to on reef trip. Even after check out they allowed us use of showers (clean towels yet again) after our final reef trip. Very impressed. Excellent value for money.

Stay 5 nights in 2 bedroom apartments not far from the esplanade . The staff were very friendly and helpful would stay there again but probably upgrade to a better apartment next time. We go to cairns.
Bit of a walk into centre of town , also I think the apartments also could at least have a broom so that we could sweep the floor .
handy to bus shops. daily service.
nothing in paticuler
excellent location, near town but away from the busy bit, and just one block from esplanade. New hotel rooms are very well appointed and look over the pleasant swim pool.
some of the older apartment in the other block are quite dark and a bit tired
friendly staff. Good bathroom Spacious room for special price with breakfast
No view as windows faced back rooms.
Dripping toilet and taps. Noisy. Very basic kitchen facilities that were different from what the description showed.
Downstairs apartment comfortable for mature age couple. Were given complementary breakfasts (2) when hot water system crashed for one day.
Some water taps dripping. Some lights not working. Inconvenience of hot water system crash but we were compensated for it. (A room relocation was not offered but free breakfasts given in lieu.)
We thought the food was really good and we didn't have to wait long for our meals
Need to keep the wine stocks up to date, not many in stock
