the staff were friendly and helpful, tours booked through the hotel were fantastic, we did not stay in the hotel long enough to use the things on offer. I think the hotel itself needs a little refurbishment, with all the luxury hotels in the area, it looked as if it badly needed painting on the outside. |

Hotel has good service. We are satisfied. It would be better if the location can be nearer to the centre of the city. There is no free internet service available, and payable internet service are slow. This makes inconvenient for us. I can't check my emails daily, my dad can't monitor his stock market, etc. |

Everything, rooms where not clean and were old and shabby. Bed Linen was yellowish and looked dirty also the towels. The hotel needs a good make over. It could be a nice little cheap clean hotel. At the moment its not anything. |

Room servbing was excellent. The pool area was kept clean. The hotel appears to have been taken over by an Indian company (Family) whose english was poor, making it difficult to order breakfast with them. The N.Z. (I think) person who worked at receptiion was very helpful. It took a day for me to figure that an electrical circuit in our room had tripped stopping most of the power sockets and the air-con working, and get it resolved, the fault was reported on arriving at the hotel. |

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Provision f parking was good. Was fairly dreary and run down (eg. weeds outside window! cracked sink, faded furnishings. staff not very professional - I was served by someone with an ipod in his ear) |

The room was very dirty, we were very surprised to discover ants in our bathrooms and the overall state of the room was very poor. After arriving at the room we had decided to change a hotel and so we cancelled our 7-day stay and moved as soon as we could. |

Walking distance to town views of mountains and sea. The hand, face, and bath towels were all stained and not washed properly asked for fresh towels they were also dirty. When I booked on line it said free bottle of bubbly on arrival but I was told by reception I had to pay 25 dollars for a bottle of wine. Not enough tea bags in the room had to call room service for more. Towels for swimming to small couldn't even wrap them around you. Staff sleeping on chairs at entrance(reception every time were went past) |

People seemed to have the right intentions. Location was good as far as closeness to downtown. Facilities were generally reasonable Being put into a room initially that was undergoing renovations. having to chase up linen etc myself. Having to do without a fully functioning tv for most of my stay. |

Good for traveling to the airport as it was very close. Good value for money. 15 minute walk to Cairns cbd. Kind of in a sketchy area. |
