Many restaurants around. Far from the city center. The reservation system is bad, I reserved 2 rooms and added my wifes name to the reservation so that she can have access if needed and our check-in got really complicated because of this. We waited half an hour to get our rooms, when you have a sick child with you that doesn't help. Our request to have connecting rooms was disregarded and our rooms were far apart. When you have an eight year old and 5 year old, that is problematic. If you are a family and want to book more than one room, maybe look elsewhere. One of the rooms smelled like people smoked in there and they sprayed an old perfume to cover the smell. The AC unit in the smelly room was really filthy, I wanted to say something but my wife didn't feel like complaining. If your a family with young children look elsewhere, pay a little more and find a kid friendly place.

Everything appeared to be new and clean. Very comfortable. Close to the cbd. Action was taken when a complaint was made about the rowdy neighbours. The walls of the room were paper thin. 2 nights in a row, the room next door had a party around 230am and were making alot of noise and laughter.

Staff, Price. Therefore, I think this hotel is good only for one or 2 nights. Darlinghurst is not an area for family.

Nice modern hotel, within walking distance of the main city centre, and Darling Harbour. Also for gay travellers, Sydney's gay village is only a 2 minute walk away. When walking from Central Sation there is a steep hill to climb. Better going to Museum Station and walking up Oxford Road, still a incline but not so steep.

Lorraine at Reception was great. As was the duty manager. Paying the extra to get a city view was worth it. Very close to transport and great cafes. Service in the restaurant very slow. Great food though.

The location is great and staff are friendly and helpful. Overall our stay was fine Layout of rooms, having bathroom off bedroom not ideal with a baby sleeping. Kitchenette too small and lack of space to put food, fridge items etc. Table and chairs would have been good in room or balcony.

We have stayed at the Cambridge several times now however we weren't quite as happy with the location of our room on our last visit. We will however stay here again as it is a very convenient location for our Sydney trips

Staff were very nice and conducted themselves in a professional manner Carpet in bedroom smelt of urine One of the bath towels was dirty - had makeup and a brown smear on it Breakfast was very poor - poor selection of cereals, toaster not working - I paid $15 for a piece of untoasted bread with butter and vegemite.
