The comfortable room The hidden costs I was unaware of prior to booking. When I arrived I was asked for a $100 bond, watching movies on TV was charged and parking was $15 a night. I have not had this experience at any other motels/accomodation I have stayed at and would not return due to this. |

Central Canberra location. Interstate bus terminal under the hotel. Convenient to public transport to most areas of the Capital Would be handy to have a coffee shop in the hotel |

The hotel is in a great City location within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, cafes, entertainment and public transport. The car parking spaces were very narrow and congested |

Central to transport - bus to everywhere. My room 641 - needs towel rail in bathroom, shower cap. No hooks to hand clothes in bathroom - everything heaped on the toilet - not good. Most important for women on their own - no peephole in door to verify callers. As there is no card swipe in lifts - anyone can reach bedrooms. |

Well equipped hotel (even with a pleasant swimming pool), perfectly located close to the business and shopping centre of Canberra. Adequate value for money spent. |

Reasonably priced and the room was comfortable (bed very so) Advised of a 1 hour delay for a toasted sandwich at 1 am on a Saturday night. Housekeeping knocked on door at 9.20am to ask what time we would be checking out. Bathroom arrangement was strange. |

The mordern design of the room, large and comfortable, conveniently located in centre of Canberra. I cannot believe all the small details that was expected are all missing (E.G. No tooth brush, no tooth paste, no slippers, bath robe...etc), and I have to ask the reception to find out that they are not complimentary. A price tag has been attached to every single items (E.G. $5 for a tooth brush, $4 for tooth paste), I would never think that a hotel group like Novotel would be so cheap, lowering the room fee to attract your booking and then charge you for every single items that you needed to use. I totally changed my perception about Novotel. Perhaps service in a motel is more complete. |

The staff were outstanding - friendly, helpful and obliging.. The room was very comfotable and clean, the hotel was well situated, breakfast was good quality and plentiful and all facilities were of a high standard. Service in the hotel dining room for the evening meal was dreadful - we had to ask several times for serviettes, the wait staff were slow and unhelpful, and did not appear to know what they were doing. The people seated at the table next to us summed it up when they said "They just don't have a clue". The secure parking was overbooked with some cars (ours included) being parked offsite without drivers being made aware of this even though on site parking was booked well in advance. |

Close to the historic attractions, parliament and mod conveniences. It was also very clean and most of the staff were quick and helpful. When I rang for tiolet paper and the staff bought me some milk instead. The tiolet paper was not stocked very well and the roo was a little hot at night without the air cond. |

Easy to check in. Currently renovating. This information was not obvious until hotel had been booked. In House Restraunt closed very early considering plane times, room service food was adequate, nothing to rave about. |

I liked that you have sauna and swimming pool facilities. You had run out of some stock - soy milk, toothpicks ... |

The location was fantastic, just above the bus station & walking distance from the shops & restaurants. 1) My sister & I had bed bug bites in spite of sleeping on different beds! The bed linen looked clean though. 2) The on going construction meant that the construction lift was just outside our window, so we were forced to keep our curtains drawn during daytime, though luckily we were usually out during the day. |
