Cape Bridgewater Seaview Lodge  

We loved everything about the Cape Bridgewater Seaview Lodge. Dennis, the host, is a charming host and his breakfasts are terrific. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The view of the beach is second to none. This place is the ultimate in peace, serenity and relaxation. We loved it so much we extended our stay.

My wife and I stayed one night at this excellent accommodation. The position of the property could not be more stunning. Watching the sun rise over the sea was an unforgetteable experience. Great host and magnificent breakfast. Would love to have stayed longer.

Great view to the beach, and I liked the veranda to sit in the evening and watch the paragliders

The fat spider which was sitting on our room door - but this is Australia countryside (and it was not a poisonous one)

Very rude welcome for the owner. We went around 10:00pm but we called to inform our late arrival. Time arrival was until 10:00pm so we were very surprised to have a such bad welcome . no need to propose a cottage for one night stay as too expensive (200 Au $) - no need to have a washing machine & kitchen

Brilliant location with magnificent views over Bridgewater Bay. Clean and comfortable facilities. Great sunrooms for relaxing and reading and spacious balcony for taking in the sea views and drinking wine! Wonderful and gracious host (Dennis) who made us feel like part of his family and cooked a magnificent breakfast each day. Highly recommend this B&B to all travellers.

Dennis the innkeeper was friendly but not intrusive. His suggestions on things to do and places to go were helpful and good. Breakfast was plentiful, tasty and served promptly with a smile ..

The mattress was not the best and the furniture in the room was not very comfortable.

I honestly don't know where to start. We picked this location for New Years, wanted a quite place on the beach and this place was perfect. Dennis the owner was very helpful, friendly and funny. We simply love this place and have nice memorries of it. Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace overlooking the bay.

The best hotel I've been in Australia. Very friendly staff, best situation, very good breakfast and the room and common spaces are really comfortables.There's no restaurants close and you have to go to Portland (20minuts by car) to dinner.

Wonderful location. Just wished we'd arrived earlier to see more of it. Unique building with lots of history attached, and lots of info in various files to read. Definitely would stay longer if we can ever come back. As in other reviews, Dennis looked after us well. Worth emphasising the guest kitchen, if, as we did, you arrive late, and you want to cook or heat up something, as there are no restaurants nearby. (Back into Portland 20k away!) Excellent free Wi-fi, fast!

The wonderful view of the sea and the great hospitality of the owner Mr Dennis. You really made us feel at home. That was the first time we were served breakfast while on australia from the 30th may till we stayed at the Cape Bridgewater Seaview Lodge. (We prepared our own everyday). A great breakfast!! Thank you. Will definitely recommend the place to our friends and relatives visiting Australia.

the view, the electric blankets, the spa, the comfort, all the facilities in the kitchen, the staff's helpfulness, the welcoming light left on for us on arrival, the comfort of the bed...so so superbly snuggly, the spa oil...loved this place....

we made the mistake of leaving melbourne too late, and it was an enormous drive in one day to do.... would have been a good heads up if the advice on distance time from melbourne was clear....twas totally our fault...and the staff were wonderful leaving lights on for the welcome when we got there late....

The location of the lodge is excellent,you only have to cross the road to get to the beach. Our room faced the sea and it was great to relax on the balcony and feel the sea air in our faces. Our host the owner was very friendly, cooked a great breakfast.

Im Zimmer fehlten ein Kühlschrank und ein TV. Beides gab es in Gemeinschaftsräumen

Tolle Lage, schöne und komfortable Zimmer. Frühstück lecker. Hinweis: in Bridgewater gibt es kein Abendessen. Entweder mitbringen oder frühzeitig einchecken und in Portland essen gehen.
