Liked the situation and the historic nature of the cottage and it's quirkiness.

Felt it was inadequately described online. The impression we got was there was a fireplace and there wasn't and it was a pretty chilly night with no heating. Also the native mice - protected species - which we don't mind had left droppings in the bed sheets indicating that the linen had not been put on the beds the day we arrived.

We loved being right there under the lighthouse and able to visit it during sunset, sunrise and in the dead of night. It was a real treat and we got some marvellous photos.

Private, comfortable if somewhat more basic.
