Lovely welcome. Great spot and well appointed cottages for a relaxing break ( we were breaking the journey on way to Port D ). So much so we booked to go back a week later on our return from Port Douglas. Have recommended to friends in Townsville. The physical location is good but the family running the cottages add that extra friendly and welcoming personal touch. Was problems with hot water on first night,as only lukewarm but that was fixed by our return a week later and we were offered a move but wasn't worth it for a night we decided.

Loved the warm welcome on our arrival, the owners were great and recommended lots of local sights to see and do. They even let us check in at 8am as our flight arrived early in morning. So peaceful and were not interrupted at any time during our stay. You will need a car to stay here as it is not in centre of mission beach but only a short drive away. Also for sight seeing we found it so easy with a car.

Spacious cottage with everything you need. Intimate outdoor area and close to a quiet beach I would like to see a welcome pack with more on the area, along with recommendations on where to eat and places to visit

Comfortable sofas, & beds. It had a good kitchen which suited our needs. Spacious & shiny clean. Good for people who like barbeques. Easy access to parked car & also the lovely beach. Free wi fi was a huge bonus. Thanks for that. It was dark & draughty as we struck a cold at night period. The outdoor area plus furniture didn't lend itself to sitting out there unless you are young & into Barbeques. The drier was out of reach for a shortie like me, but clothes lines out the back are good. You need to whisper or be heard from nearby cottages. Not easy to find even when you know where it is.

Location. Design of appartments they feel private. A few more towels would be nice when it's raining. door mats for water. chips in cup and a hair dryer which didn't work. Picky thing.....otherwise very nice thankyou.
