Loved the location and the fact that it was older but renovated and had a lot of character. Very clean. Staff were polite and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Would have preferred a window that didn't look into a building but realize that we could have upgraded to another room that probably had one that didn'T.

Location excellent. It was very clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. We didn't like that the restaurant and bar in the hotel was closed during our 4 night stay. We should have been advised that this would be the case before booking. The room was a little dismal and too small and the lighting was very poor but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

The location is the best thing about the hotel. No complaints. However, the room was small and seemed pokey.

It is a very pleasant hotel in its public areas, and is very well located for anyone visiting the city. The continental breakfast is very good, although it would be nice if it were included in the room price. There was really nothing we didn't like about the hotel, except that the room was perhaps a little small.

We liked the location, it could not have been better placed for sight seeing in Sydney. Staff also were very helpful. That there was only a shower & no bath, also only one hand towel supplied for two people.

This is a club which also makes its facilities available as a hotel. It is therefore supeior to most hotels in its price range.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - just a short walk to the Sydney Harbor as well as to lots of shopping and dining and public transportation. The room and the bathroom were quite small but still manageable. The construction noise during the day right next door was another minor issue. This wouldn't have been a problem except, after flying in from the U.S., we desperately needed to take a nap which was nearly impossible due to the noise. All was quiet at night, though, so no worries!

Good location. Our room was dark, with one tiny window which you could not see out of as it had opaque glass. So you had no idea what the weather was like in the morning. A cockroach was on the wall. The bathroom was tiny and had a sliding door that didn't close properly.

Very pleasant and polite staff. Nice bar facilities at good prices. Good location. We thought the room was a bit on the small size for the price, but it is in a very central position.

Location is the main advantage of this hotel. The room was clean and quiet and the air conditioning efficient. The lighting was very poor and the bathroom completely basic, looked like a 2 stars hotel room.
