It was so central to many of the attractions in Melbourne. The breakfast was very good value and everything we needed. The air conditioning in the breakfast room was too hot the second morning of our stay. We ate and left as fast as possible.It was a bit annoying that the first lift only went to the second floor then you had to walk the length of the building to get another lift up to the accommodation levels. |

Location good, close to shopping, eateries, attractions etc. Breakfast good, complimentary newspaper a nice touch. Rooms very small, could hear water pressure from showers etc in other rooms through the wall, water from shower was angled towards the wall which made it difficult to use. |

The hotel is very clean and unpretentious. All staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast provided was fresh and plentiful. The location is awesome and made getting out and about on foot easy and the trams and trains are within easy and safe walking distance. There are many great restaurants and cafes close by and Chinatown was about a 5 minute walk. We could also safely walk back to the hotel from the Cultural precinct after attending performances. I highly recommend this hotel as great value for money. |

We were lucky enough to be upgraded and therefore room was larger than expected. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Plenty of food. Good to have breakfast included in the price paid. Very central location trams were close for wherever we wanted to go. |

The location being right in the CBD. The staff were friendly and the breakfast sufficient for me. I remember staying in this hotel a few years ago and noticed some improvements, for example, the dining room seems to be cleaner and brighter, the choice of food is bigger and the staff more friendly. The sign of the hotel could be more prominent - I had some difficulty trying to locate it. I haven't had the opportunity to look at the other quests' reviews before booking this hotel. |
