Great location, free breakfast was good, while not hot, we could not fault for freshness and quality. Dealings with staff problem free. Would stay again.
Minor things, shower hard to regulate, can get a little noise from mall but not excessive. Pros do override cons
On the mall for shopping walk or tram or train to most attractions. Great hotel good customer service clean room comfy bed good buffet breakfast and will definitely stay again
Can't think of anything
The room and bathroom very small with no cupboard/bench space. Shared with my sister where we had to strategical plan when trying to get ready to go out .
Central location. Staff very helpful, premises very clean. Breakfast location, service and verity of food very good.
Control for air conditioning not working room very hot for two nights. Again airconditioning in dining room set to hot had to open window for air.
Location was very good close to everything
No bacon and eggs for breakfast and no Restuarant in hotel Air conditioner in room did not work properly and was very muggy in room . Staff did not even check the problem for us.
Central to everything
Not enough space
Central location convenient to all attractions. It was perfect for our short stay. Breakfast a nice inclusion.
Bathroom tiles were moldy, toilet made a loud sound when flushing and leaking sink tap in bathroom.
the location, the newspaper and the simple breakfast. I also liked the fact that we could open the windows.
the airconditioner was a bit cold and our room did not get tidied the last day we were there...
Was in Melb for work related conference. Hotel was in walking distance for shows, movies and museums (or shopping). Free trams in CBD. Advised staff of dripping toilet first night and it was fixed by the time I arrived back from IMax. Free breakfast in room charge (cereal, fruit, toast) until 10.30
Security lift from reception to 2nd floor out of order 3 days. Toiletries and tea/coffee not replaced every day. Noise from street reached 8th floor with music going all day and patrons from Korean restaurant in Causeway open until very late.
The premises were ideally situated and within walking distance of most attractions, the continental breakfast was exceptional with a wide choice to suit all tastes and the staff were all pleasant and helpful and prompt to deal with anything that arose. Worth recommending to friends and would return should I need accommodation in the future.
No complaints, all was good
Liked the proximity to theatre, parks & shops!
Nothing, would stay again!
Staff were friendly and everything's at your door when you step out of the hotel.
Pillows were all the same hard foam. Variety is needed so you can pick a different one if the first doran' suit.
Location free breaky and the beds were really comfortable - will be going back to stay again
Room small but so clean and so affordable
A female staff member not helpful when asking about outside services And bathroom needed attention Dirty tiles toilet roll hanger hanging off When booked asked for a room overlooking mall but ended up getting a room looking at a building It was my mums first time In Melbourne for years so was upset It was supposed to be a superior room Wasn't worth the money.
Size of room and cost. Also very unfriendly staff!
Vibrations from other rooms closing doors.
LOVED that it was the perfect location.. Central to everything..trams only metres away, cafés and restaurants at your doorstep.Breakfast for us was great!Staff were very pleasant and rooms very clean.DEFINITELY stay there again!
The only real downside, was the "noisiness"of the aircon. There was an ongoing "rattle"through the air vents that was annoying, but the problem was not so bad on our last evening.
- Brilliant location - Adequately sized room (Queen room) - Friendly staff
The location is great.
Tiny room. Dripping toilet. Windows did not block outside noise, which when you're in the city centre is essential!
-Quiet room -Excellent Location -Comfortable Beds -Big Shower -Did I mention the location?!
-Have to take 2 different elevators and walk through dining room to get above the second floor -Small television and mirrors, though this should be expected with a budget room
Very comfortable great for shopping value for money
The position and the room were fine and the breakfast also very good. All staff apart from reception on our arrival were very good. Would stay again if it wasn't for the buskers in the mall.
The loud music from the buskers in the mall, so loud we could not watch TV, it went for so long it messed with your head.
Very central to all facilities and public transport, clean and comfortable, good brekky.
Décor and view is a little dull but economy and comfort more than makes up for! We are there to experience Melbourne and coming home to a clean comfy room is the main thing.
Excellent location Helpful staff Comfortable bed Good included Continental breakfast Reasonable value for money for a central location at peak holiday time
Probably the smallest double room we have ever had and one of our suitcases had to be on the desk/worktop as it didn't fit on the floor! Air conditioning hard to adjust Toilet roll holder falling off wall and had done previously as the hole was still there unfillled!!
