Location, price, room quality for the price Front desk was somewhat chotic. The hotel needs a room to store bags until patrons are checked in. The front desk clerk did not appear well with a cold and should not have been at work - not his fault I would suggest

Great central location. Staff were friendly, helpful, especially the front desk. Inclusion of breakfast in the cost was great and definitely made a difference to our stay. Room was too basic, windows didn't open, therefore room was stuffy. Bathroom lacked sufficient towel rails for accommodating three people.

Position , Position , really close to the centre of town , but being up a laneway you are away from noisy garbage trucks and revellers ! This my second visit , and will keep coming back for value for money as well Some people would complain of looking onto a brick wall , I was just grateful to find somewhere that was peaceful,and offered a good nights sleep

First of all the friendly and helpfull staff as you arrive and leave. The breakfast is awsome with a fresh variety of breakfast foods from cereals to fruits and juices and a whole lot more. Its located in a convenient strip with surrounding food stores. No free wifi

Great location in the CBD of Melbourne. Friendly accommodating staff. Breakfast inclusive deal was well worth it. Generally good value for money. Shower was low pressure and flowed through entire ensuite and out onto carpeted area of room. Badly designed. Rooms need a freshen up due to various marks etc on walls. Coat of paint would fix.

Clean and tidy. Excellent location close to shops and transport. Satisfied my city trip for shopping and I would stay again. Recommended! Bath/shower combination is not good for older people. Way too high for someone who has had a hip replacement.

We really loved the peace and quiet of the hotel, even though it was right in the middle of the shopping/cafe area of the city! I would definitely stay there again. Having a continental breakfast included was definitely a bonus.

I thought everything was fantastic,friendly conveinent,it was a pleasure to stay with you,my only advice to you is that you do something about the problem with the showers,by the time you had 3 people use the shower the water was flowing out the door this maybe needs to be addressed,otherwise it was all fantastic. Other than the shower,no other problem.

The position is absolutely fantastic. We could walk from there to Docklands, mcg, Train Stations, China Town, Lygon Street, Queen Victoria Markets. The eateries in the laneway were excellent, although quite surprised most of them were not open Saturday and Sunday. The parking validation made the stay even better value.

My wife became ill eraly in our stay and was basically bed ridden. She was very impressed by the manner in which the hotel staff treated her and were very obliging, courteous and prompt in all our dealings. I had absolutely no issues with the hotel. We would definitely stayy again at causeway 353. A really great place to stay.

Love the location and being able to have a smoking room Actually this was my 3rd stay at Cuaseway and even as a smoker this time I really noticed stale smoke smell, which I never had on previous stays.
