The room was super clean. Shower pressure was great. Heating and AC (which I didn't need). Quiet.
Parking is as straightforward as I'd hoped. The hotel is also a part of a bar/casino, which was a bit odd. The check-in was inside the bar, which I did not expect.
We liked the location it was central to everything and housekeeping daily was wonderful . Breakfast included daily was good .
The fact that tattoos exposed were not except able needed to cover up apparently management assume that it's offensive !! Discrimination is what that is !! People could start drinking & Gambling while you eat breakfast way too early !!! No dinner meals available so had to go out every night.
i wasn't aware of the free wifi.
WIFI, breakfast in the morning, location
Music being piped into our room until 1:30am- later we found out that it hadn't been shut off at the normal time so the next night the music did stop around 11pm
excellent location, walking distance to everything, great breakfast.
parking was the issue, manager didnt know that carpark was closing on sunday until we told them, then we got the run around, had very hard time trying to get car out but finally did.
Location is central and within an easy 10 minute walk to the waterfront. Breakfast is very good, cooked to order, but doesn't start til 7:00 so if you have an early tour you'll miss out. (However, They will give you a box of cereal and milk and you have a pot to make instant coffee or tea in your room.) The price is good for the location. The room is old, but clean and adequate. There is a laundry facility available.
Very tiny room and mini-shower. If you get a room by the street you'll hear a very annoying crosswalk beep all night along with traffic noise. The bar does not serve food in the evening and may close early--and there's almost no where around there that stays open after 5:00.
Great place and location
its central position Friendly staff Nice clean and comfortable room
View from window or lack of it Could serve coffee a different way at breakfast. Making it hot !
Beds very comfortable and great breakfast
Noise in the nearby lane one on one night
There was a foul smell in the room.
Wifi worked well Bed comfortable Breakfast was good
Paid way too much for extra night. Pealing paint on ceiling Shower cubicle was too small for an average size man to shower. Booked for 2 nights, but had to book an extra night due to flight mix up, Booking.com 2 nights $260 Extra night $175 Ripped Off!
Location in heart of CBD , close to Waterfront Complex Breakfast included
Loud noise from Downstairs private party till midnight - Was a 1 off
close to everything
Location, service, comfort, price all great. Breakfast is also very good, another slice of toast with it would be a bonus.
A little noisy when a party or a band is on - but it is a pub after all so can't really grumble.
the location in the great centre of hobart, the rooms were quite confortable, and the breaksfast included was huge.
the hotel is located uppstairs a saloon, that means a lot of people going in and out to play machines and betting all the nigth long.
Great location. Quiet and comfortable room.
The stairs were difficult to manage with bags.
Excellent breakfast - free and you can order great range of items (pancakes, eggs) all done really well. Room was spacious - good shower, some toiletries provided and coffee and tea making facilities. Decent TV.
The cafe/bar itself is linked to the casino so has not got a great atmosphere downstairs. However entrance to hotel is separate and well sound proofed. All noise I could hear from my window ceased at 10pm including on weekends.
Very central location. Rooms are clean and provide basic facilities. There is a laundry room if you need to wash or iron something.
Our room was at the front facing the main road. There was some noise (although not terrible) including people shouting, garbage collections and street sweepers.
Area and the fact that it is co located with bar and pokies
Quiet ,despite being above pub.Newly refurbished.Central location, walk to waterfront area. Good breakfast. Close to shuttle bus to airport.
Was very pleasantly surprised. We thought it would be a bit loud in a hotel situation but it was great. Very convenient to all eateries and markets. Wonderful complimentary breakfast.
Hotel in main street, walking distance to many tourist interest. Staff were polite and helpful. Room was clean value for money with nice free breakfast each morning. If we came to Hobart again would stay here.
Due to a problem with my knee the 17 stairs to the room was a effort on some days but I put it down to good exercise for my knee.
Take some ear plugs. Otherwise brilliant! Comfortable and clean and the breakfasts were yummy
Location Friendly staff Quality accommodation
The room and bathroom facilities. Quite modern inside an old building.
A private function was on the ground floor but the noise was bearable.
