Pretty and quiet spot. Good value for money. Walking distance to everything. Would definitely stay again.
Was a very pleasent stay spa room was great for a relaxing weekend away. Close walk to shops and restaurant nice gardens to relax in. Great place will recommend to others.
Certainly not deluxe room as quoted
The spa was delightful
The pillows were too hard
Comfortable, very clean bed. Good size room, good heating, TV. and good shower.
Noisy fan in bathroom, toilet did not flush easily or well (husband thought could do with a new cistern/toilet - ex builders opinion) Terrible noisy fan outside our front door coming from behind a flimsy screen, could have been an exhaust fan ???
Nice well lit bathroom.
Toaster in the room but no plate or knife. Bed and pillows hard.
Location was within walking distance of eateries and main street. Very clean with a spacious room for two older adults travelling together as an aunt and niece. Walk-in shower was great and necessary, they are often hard to find.
Limited Parking if all rooms were booked. Quiet mid-week so not a problem for us.
It felt a bit like being in Sovereign Hill. Breakfast in the restaurant across the garden was a nice way start the day. Friendly, hosts with good knowledge of the area. Even gave us a jug of fresh milk for our tea. Easy walk to main street. Would recommend the Sunday Market near the historic railway station (walking distance) and highly recommend dinner at the Farmers Arms Hotel.
Only suggestion would be the provision of saucers and knives for buttering toast. Maybe the couches could somehow face the TV.
Period features, very clean and comfortable
not enough pillows bathroom looked dirty not enough night lights outside
We got a lovely welcome to Central springs inn and lots of information and advice on where to go for a spa and for dinner. Such a lovely, comfortable hotel, we will definitely be coming back!
electric blanket close to town nice room, tv had a dvd player
We loved our stay, even though it was only one night. Very clean and staff very friendly. Highly recommend to all.
Kitchen needs plates and utensils Bathroom needs extra rack for towels
small window with vertical blinds cold air and seeing a bit through full dust on the wood of the ceilings Front door very cold air from the draft
Friendly staff on arrival, room lovely, bathroom very clean. Bed very comfortable. Heating great, air conditioner quiet and separate heater also. Electric blankets on beds, great.
Loved the room - nice ambience with open fire. Plenty of alternative heating. So close to shops etc.
location was great heating was good bed comfortable shower clean
building was run down noisy from traffic car parking limited
The beautiful old (built in 1875) building has lots of charm and is very photogenic as well as being comfortable. The fire is laid each day for you, so you only have to light it to allow you to fall asleep lit by the comfortable glow lighting up the high ceiling and old world charm. Don't stay here if you want modern or bland, or can't stand the old creaks and wood smoke. If you want character, do stay here. It is also a short walk to the centre of the village, and is an easy stroll down to the wonderful old Daylesford Pub, which is an outstanding place to have dinner.
The ensuite is literally squeezed in to the old listed building, so don't expect too much there - it is functional and a minor inconvenience for what is a wonderful old building with heaps of character. It is also an old building, so if you really can't stand things like wonky floors, creaks and some draughts, don't stay here - if you want some character with what are really minor inconveniences then enjoy the experience like we did.
It was nice having breakfast in the dining room.
Very handy to main stet but still quiet
It was walking distance to everything
Clean place and friendly helpful staff.
The price was expensive given the facilities and season.
Location Electric blankets on bed and comfortable room Helpful staff
Like the location and staff were friendly
Very tired and run down decor but room rates were still very high for what we got.
