Rooms very small, Corridors very very noisy, Kitchen extremely dirty. Utensils in extremely bad condition. Not woth staying. Internet not available.
clean bathrooms. good view from the rooftop patio
wifi not free. hostel only had super thin sheet for cover and it was wintertime. boyfriend caught a cold with fever. pay for towels. kind of dingy for a newly remodeled place...
Friendly staff had everything you needed. Roof terrace is very nice and good views.
The hostel needs updating. There are tiles missing in the shower rooms and the carpets are old fashioned.
There was a used bandaid on my wall...need I say more?
Rooftop area and facilities
Limited car parking
The staff very friendly and helpful. The location is good near main CBD, transit centre and Coles.
The beds are the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in. No oven in the kitchen and 70% of the time it's a mess. Private rooms are tiny paid enough for the room you should at least have the use of free wifi.
clean generally and great location super friendly staff
lack of lockers, room was a bit cramped.
i always get treated well therean they up grade me
the way people leave the toilets a n bathroom after they have finshed using them why can't they leave them clean an take their rubbish to the bin
The staff where polite and helpful
The beds were a bit uncomfy
Clean, good location and good facilities
Not enough fresh air in the room!! Way too hot and stuffy
The roof terrace
small and dirty room Very noisy at night
Noise at all hours resulting in poor sleep
Great location for sporting events at Suncorp Stadium, 24 hour reception, good facilities that you can use even after checking out
Even private rooms are still very basic, unwelcoming. But perfect for a place just to crash :)
The roof The staff is nice
Not comfy bads
Good location, 5min walk from Roma St station, good base for exploring surrounding area. Got 1.5hrs free wifi as i was staying 3nts
Bed was pretty creaky but no big deal
Close to bus and trains
Beds uncomfortable small rooms nowhere to store luggage
friendly and helpful manager and reception staff:) clean female bathroom:) easy walk into Brisbane CBD:)
We had a 2 people room. I knew it was going to be small but it was tiny!as soon as the lift door opened on the 2nd floor it smelt so bad of dirty water, the room had a worse smell and it didn't have windows to air it out. we just stayed on the roof top as long as we could which was a lovely place.
One male staff member kindly changed our room.
Moved rooms because the first was tiny! Beds we're hard and uncomfortable!
I stayed at for female room. the room was so messy, cold and a girl brought her bf and had sex. well, that is not the backpacker's fault. but it happened.. so I moved to another room. and the room was fine. but it was still cold. but the blanket was really flimsy. I wish I could control the air conditioner. I am still having runny nose. and every night, some people are still awake and noisy. It sometimes made me wake up in the midnight :(
Location is good, dorms are simple and basic. Pretty clean.
Wifi is not free.
was in a excellent location, only a couple of minutes from the train and coach station, staff were very friendly and helpful. was very clean, would stay here again
was a bit noisy at night, and beds were not the most comfortable, but got to expect that in a hostel
The hostel was so clean and the bathrooms were great. The balcony were a great place to hang out
The smallness of the triple room
We stayed here over two consecutive weekends while in the city for a few festivals. The location was okay, and the rooftop terrace was nice.
The first room we had during our first stay was WAY too small for the four of us. So small, in fact, that we could only fit one suitcase open on the ground at a time. We were also only provided with fitted sheets as they "had run out of flat sheets" which made for a bit of an uncomfortable sleep. The toilets are unisex- not necessary a bad thing, but we prefer single-sex toilets. The locker storage is an awkward cupboard under the stairs with no shelving so if your bags get pushed to the back it's difficult trying to get them out. The second weekend we stayed we had two of the worst sleeps we have ever experienced. The hostel was very loud that second weekend, and someone had turned down the air conditioning (it's regulated for each floor, not room unfortunately) so much that we spent the whole night waking up every hour shivering. They don't supply you with blankets, only sheets, so we were layering up all our clothing (all summer items) to try and stay warm. We definitely won't stay again, unfortunately.
