I liked the location and the room was good size.
the tv reception and channel selection was poor. the kitchen needed a tin opener.
The bed was comfy .. The room very clean.. Good quality linen.. Friendly helpful staff.
Because the accommodation was cheap it attracted riff raff visitors on our floor drunk and noisy all night .. Was not nice for my 6yr old or myself
Must try +39 restaurant just down the road for meal . . . Awesome Italian. Good room, helpful & friendly staff.
Very noisy night struggled sleeping early morning road cleaning.
Loved the staff, very frendly and attentive. Hotel apartment in the heart of the city...loved it. At least 3 malls within 3 to 5min walk. Southern Cross and Sky Bus only a 4min tram ride and only half a block from trams galore.
I didn't like guest slaming doors. Which happened almost everyday. l was there for 12 days. The problems l had are connected to other guest having lovers tiffs and locking each other out of the room.
A great location, with facilities and restaurants down the street. A basic no-nonsense hotel at a very reasonable price for the centre of the city.
the location was good
The pillows were disgusting reception wouldn't call us a taxi other people were overly loud walls are very thin
Kitchen and bathroom very tidy
The only thing I didn't like about it was that u could hear people in other rooms.
I was upgraded to a studio upon arrival. There was a toaster kettle fridge and iron available. The bed was comfortable
The tv only had 3 channels and was in and out of reception. The air con could be better. There was no breakfast available
Staff price and location
excellent location great shower and hot water good space
I liked the central location & that all amenities were available. A few minor aspects as per below, otherwise it was excellent & staff were all very helpful. I will come again.
There were 1 or 2 cockroaches & mould on window sealants I could smell as I don't use air conditioning. I soaked crockery as water dripped if I used the sink bench & didn't want to use the towels to mop up. Minor in the scheme I things.
The twin room was spacious with kitchen facilities. Bed was very comfortable. Location is excellent if main purpose is in the CBD.
Aged interior. Coat hangers were rather old and were a hotch potch of styles which didn't look clean. We didn't use them.
Comfortable bed with kitchen amenities. Very clean everywhere.
TV was very small and only 4 channels available.
I loved the location. The room was fine size-wise, was clean and the bed was comfy. The wine bar two doors up was brilliant.
The room was really noisy on the Friday and Saturday nights of my stay, guests arriving back late, people on the street outside yelling and street sweepers and garbage collection all were loud enough to wake me. The staff weren't particularly friendly, the girl who checked me in was very sick and probably should have been in bed! The day I checked out I left my luggage with the guy on the desk to pick up later. When I returned there was a back in 15 sign on the counter so I sat on the bench to wait only to find my suitcase at the back of the corridor unattended and not secure. Anyone could have walked in and helped themselves to the guests belongings. The rooms need their own microwave, not nice going to the laundry room to heat food!!
Side street location meant quieter stay than I anticipated. The location is unbeatable.
No extra blankets provided in room.
Location was good and central. Staff warm and friendly
Rooms little small and bit of dated but clean.
Location, cleanliness , staff
Entrance a bit shabby but great inside !
No complaints. Great location, good clean facilities. Comfortable.
Very tired looking, could do with a paint job and some fresh clean carpet!
position and all the other rooms we could see as we walked past while they were being cleaned.
our room, tiny boxy and no room. Booked online and obviously got the worst room for the cheaper price, miniscule tv with 4 channels only
The room wasn't particularly clean, even dirty shoe marks all over the walls. Spent two out of three nights quite frustrated due to lack of sleep as we could hear other patrons clearly through paper thin walls. Don't know if we were unlucky but our room layout looked nothing like any of the previewed pictures. Won't be staying here ever again.
Great location, kitchenette, well priced which is important for severl nights' stay. Staff were very helpful, good linen and towels, liked the floor boards in the bedroom.
Room in need of painting, hot water was not reliable in shower (sometimes hot, sometimes too cold to wash hair). A microwave in the kitchen would have been great.
Bed was ok
$169 for a tiny room that mainly contained a double bed, just some space to move around, a (reverse)airconditioning that could not provide any heat, a broken ironing board. It would more fit the segment of rooms below $100 per night. For the price I paid, I'll stay somewhere else next time.
Small room, only ok for 1 person. Large bathroom but water just lukewarm, early in the morning. Small TV. Just a hotel for 1 night.
Very convenient for our function. Very basic but was just a place to get ready and sleep so overall pretty happy with our choice.
Standard double is just what it says, "standard" . No frills to see here.
It was cosy , with all the essentials we needed :)
My room didn't have balcony
