The location is excellent. The lack of a lift / elevator makes it very difficult transporting heavy luggage to upper floors. |

Given a warm welcome. Availability of shared kitchen facilities, closeby grocery stores and the frig in my room meant I saved on meals. Very small, high windows in my room. |

The hotel was very convenient to the center city area and within walking distance of the: Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the ferry wharfs. Access to the Wynyard train station was within a city block. Wynyard is a major stop with access to many trains, including the train to the airport. Lots of food and convenience stores very close. Luggage is storred beside the front desk so, security is a little bit of a concern. No lift. |

I liked the fact that we were so central to everything and one of your staff members was extremely friendly which made it a pleasant stay The bathroom was tiny and I hated the stairs |

Location, friendly and helpful staff The buidling is old, you could listen to the people next door, and every time they walked around the floor moved in my room. It would be ok for a short stay, but after a few days it really got in my nerves. They gave me a different room eventually and the situation improved a bit, but the fact of the old building remains. The rooms were cleaned very superficially. The lack of elevator is an issue. Some of the rooms are really small and packed, and the windows in the top floor are more like portholes. |

I really liked the location, the bathroom was modern and easy to use, and the hotel itself was pretty quiet. The kitchen and communal lounge were really pleasant. The free-to-air channel reception in the rooms was terrible. And the Fox channels were mostly sport...not great choice. I heard alot of complaints about the number of stairs - was fine for me, but hard on people who didn't expect them. I like firm beds, so the beds suited me, others may find them really hard. There was a fair bit of street noise in the night. |

Friendly service My partner and I checked in on Sunday 4th October and we were told that we had a new mattress in our room (number 302) yet the mattress was very uncomfortable. It didn't feel like a new mattress. It felt bendy. Maybe, the hostess made a mistake with the room number? |

Very pleasantly appointed room and lounge area. Staff showed me features of the room on arrival which was nice and unexpected as I arrived quite late. Very convenient location for city activities. Only negative was the bed was a bit hard. Couldn't find a remote to turn the TV on but didn't want to as I was otherwise busy. |

Very clean room, nicely furnished, good bathroom No elevator meant I had to carry 28kg of luggage up three floors, and rooms have very small windows with no views. Given other available choices in the same price range I would probably have stayed at another hotel. |

Location Look past the lack of elavator, the small bedroom and bathroom, slightly hard bed. The location and ultimately facilities that are to standard is what you pay for |

good price for inner city location if I would have known that the room would be 5th floor with extreme steep staircases and no lift - maybe I wouldn't have booked |

The location only We were disappointed as we thought we would have had a view as per the pictures on the website of the hotel rooms but all we had was a brick wall hidden behind a curtain. It was very noisy. |
