The hotel was beyond what we expected. We were so comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. The shower was lovely and hot and the room was spacious and quiet.

Provided a basic, clean enough bed and facilities for our attendance at 2013 Melb f1. 5Min walk to gate 5 at Albert Park (but brisk 45min walk to gate 1) Staff were friendly enough, although we didn't ask anything of them. Happy that room didn't face road. Needs either a complete gutting/renovation or bulldozing. No restaurant and none within walking distance (that looked reasonable) including takeaways, and nearby pub closed on Sunday night. Expensive wifi. Very dated fittings - furniture, lights, bathroom vent hanging from wall, needs double glazing. Bathroom very dated - worn enamel on bath, showercurtain - yuk, tilegrout discoloured, old fashioned tap/shower plumbing. Awful instant coffee.

My son and I came over for the grand prix and the hotel was perfect for the track. The lift was a bit scary.

Spar in room at special price. Location,close to the city. Off street parking - a bit of a squeeze though. A/conditioning not working properley and installed in wrong area. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Restaraunt closed on the day we were there. Paint peeling on door frame of room.

We got a non smoking floor but you can smell the smoke as you walk out your room.A bit noisy with the morning rush but not to bad.

it was cheap the loo was running the whole time in the room and i didn't get a lot of sleep, and the food in the morning was cold i was not happy the eggs look so good but just cant eat cold eggs.

The price was good and not too far from the city. The room was clean and the staff friendly and business like. Thanks for a nice stay. The breakfast was enjoyed very much. It was nice to go back there after our hen's night out.

The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and amenities clean. We were there for a very important event and was on a time limit, as advertised the restaurant was open from 7am. We turned up at 7am and noone was to be seen and the Chef hadn't even turned up. The Manager ended up cooking breakfast! The room also looked tired, there were peeling paint behind the curtains and a hole in the ceiling.

It was OK. Parking was free but not secure. Room was quiet even though on a busy street and it is well located to South Melbourne and St Kilda. It was a bit old and tired!
