Friendly helpful, smiling staff and good city location, close to tram stops, Victoria Market and an easy walk to the central shopping hub. Also loved having a balcony! Wifi access is very affordable.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The room was well set out and i was able to smoke on the balcony. Ialways felt warm ,safe and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and well serviced. The staff were always pleasant.

Staff were very friendly. The room was well equipped and adequate for two. In addition rooms were very clean and the hotel is just a short walk to qv market and melbourne central.

One of the hotel staff booked the wrong timing of our return transportation to the airport. As such, it led to us having to take a cab to the train station. However the hotel manager was nice enough to reimburse us for the cab fare.

well laid out and compact but with all the facilities you need for a short stay in a city. Helpful staff and good location, close to CBD and transport links, plus Victoria market. An excellent hotel, would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the position of the accommodation to the market and walking distance to the Bourke Street Mall, China Town and Lygon Street,

The rooms and balcony are very small.

The location was great I.E. near to city tram stops, walking distance to main attractions like Queen Victoria Market, Lygon Street, Melbourne Central among others. Not to mention the free city tram which is only steps away from the hotel. The reception staffs are helpful and friendly which really helps for first time visitor like us.

Window catch in my room which ripped a chunk out of my finger! Phone which didn't work for a day.

Great location. Good services, including cleaning regularly and replacing linen. Staff V. helpful. Liked the 24 hr concierge service.

Fan over stove not working. We stayed 8 nights and had to ask for some items to be replenished.

checkout times

Very comfortable apartment with all the necessary facilities. We used the washing machine before leaving as we were heading to Tasmania. Also we were able to have a late checkout at the last minute. For an additional $50 we had the use of the room till 3pm.

A litle bit away from the main shopping areas but excellent for the qv Markets.

The staff were always friendly and very helpful. Rooms very quiet, no traffic noise or noise from other quests. Laying in bed at night and being able to see the lights of Melbourne through the large glass patio doors. Handy to trams and easy walking to centre of city. Every thing you needed and more.

Some towles need to be replaced as they have become old and hard. This is the only thing I could fault with our 9 day stay

The location of the City Tempo Apartments is most convenient. It is one block from the qv markets, and walking distance to the heart of Melbourne's cbd, For non-walkers, it is very close to public transport, including the free city tram and bus routes. There are also restaurants and small super markets close by. Members of the staff are helpful and friendly, and the apartments are modern and generally well equipped,

We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment on the fourth floor. The unit was very small, quite good for one person, but did not have a table and chairs that could accommodate two people eating a meal - only a useful one-person desk and a coffee table. The building seems quiet internally, but there is considerable street noise for 18 hours each day. We were unable to enjoy a complete night's sleep. (We have stayed in hotels in much busier locations where the street noise has been hardly noticeable, so the problem is the building's design and construction.) The advertised balcony was not accessible and, in any case, was too narrow to accommodate even a chair.

A bit cramped, no clock beside the bed, impossible to stop water from shower oozing under the shower door all over bathroom floor.

Good accomodation with cooking facilities & washing machine good city centre location & excellent value for money

No free wifi. Having to pay $10 for 24 hours wifi when would have only used it for 30 minutes max.

The accommodation and facilities were extremely well thought out. There was everything that we required.
