We liked the view and the quietness of the motel. It has a bus stop that is very convenient and close to the city.
This place was pretty much convenient and had easy access to Hobart. I would definitely go there if im visiting Hobart again.
The access road to this place is pretty weird. Had to go over the Tasman bridge couple of times to get into the access road. But if you follow the road signs, it would be easier.
Nice view of the city and friendly staff
It's a short bus or cab trip into town, would be handy if they had a shuttle service
This was a reasonably priced, clean, quiet motel. Staff were very good.
It was difficult to find...read their website! It's a bit far from the centre of Hobart
Service is good
No wifi as my room is too far from wifi
Views from room were wonderful.
Hard to get too from main road
Staff very clean easy access to areas we were viewing properties. plenty of relevant information provided by staff. Helpful and interested.
Thin walls and noisy neighbours. Access from one side of the highway only.
Wifi is alright
Just besides highway noise to sleep, hard to access to it, have to find certain path to get into.
We stayed here in December and it was lovely and clean just a nice place to stay. Everything was how it should be. With a good view if the city and with just short trip over the bridge and your in the city centre. What more could you ask for???
Nothing.. Everything was great.
The view was exceptional and it was great to have windows that opened and still have security.
Road access from the south is difficult due to the freeway, but it is not a major issue.
The rooms were clean and it had a good shower
The Rooms need updating. Could here people in next room. The motel is a hard place to get in adjacent to roads.
Location , plenty of parking
No reception after 5pm
We liked the very helpful, friendly staff, the beautiful view, and the proximity to Eastlands Shopping Centre.
As we didn't have a car the distance from Hobart city proper was difficult.
The shower over the bath, not for disabled. Not enough coffee, teas or sugar.
Comfy beds Friendly staff
Outdated facilities (bathroom) Not cheap for the provided facilities Need a car to reach hobart
Clean linen is the only good thing about this place! Rude staff, would never recomend to anyone.. Ever!!
Clean. Central location.
Wifi signal was great if you preferred to stand on the balcony or at the entrance to your room. Look out for the dip on the curb as you drive out. You'll see what I mean. Surprised to find a bucket in the kitchenette. Am I washing dishes in a bucket?
Relatively easy to find and friendly welcome with helpful tips on how to get around city
Very friendly staff, very helpful in telling us how to get around town. The room was very clean and tidy.
Trying to enter the motel meant driving into Hobart and doing a u-turn
Walls were too thin and could hear person in adjacent room snore.
The view from the outer rooms were just as the name suggested, we got a good view of the city in room 32. The rooms were spacious and they had a tub. There was parking right at the doorstep. Although I did not interact much with the staff as I got my keep from the keydrop, I had a good experience with the man who texted me my details and replied promptly to my enquiries over text and there was another gentleman who greeted people in their cars whenever they drove by.
The beds were thin and creaky, the room seems very dated and the switches were at odd places, the main light switch were near the toilet door, which was a distance from the main door. The tub was old and there was no heating in the toilet. There was no heated blanket and the sole heater in the room took a while to heat up the entire room. The place was also hard to find without a GPS. Reception was closed even though I arrived at 3pm, luckily, there was a man who texted me so it was still alright.
We were visiting Hobart for an AFL match and this motel is in a handy location to the sports ground, yet still not too far from the CBD. And the nearby bus stop made it very easy to get into town. Motel manager was very helpful in providing any information we needed about getting around to the sights.
Bathrooms are a bit dated and the shower has no recess to help keep the water off the rest of the floor. No restaurant at the motel and closest food available is at the Eastlands shopping centre.
Overall the Motel was fine.
Unfortunately, Hobart weather was extremely cold the weekend of our stay. The heating was far from adequate for the size of the room and there were no instructions on how to regulate the heater. Electric blankets on the beds would have been most welcome.
good views at nite awsome
to close to the mountain to cold just joking
