Score from 18 reviews Excellent
The bathroom and room were quite clean, spacious and in good order & had all the bits & pieces to 'eat-in'; microwave, dishwashing liquid, plates & cutlery etc. Very handy for kids.
Room 18. Light from the corridor came right in through the window and onto the bedhead, I was able to read a book by the amount of light. It drove me absolutely crazy & I ended up pushing the bed into the centre of the room for every night we were there; even then the room was very light.
Modern facilities recently renovated room with little noise from traffic. Friendly staff.
Facade does not show the quality on the refurbished room.
The place was clean and tidy. The room was modern. They opened up for us as we arrived late.
Our shower was leaking water and quite noisy
Close to town
Shabby looking. No soap /Shampoo supplied. Much better place for $5.00 more nearby.
Friendly staff, very, very clean, a very comfortable bed and value for money. Would definitely recommend it to my friends.
Good size rooms, fairly quiet
Car had to be parked quite a distance from our room.
Bed was very hard,No hot water for shower
Comfortable bed spacious room quiet area
parking was limited Access to room
The photos on mobile phone was deceiving. I dont mind staying in not so modern accomodation, but cleaniness and comfortable bed is a MUST! When we arrived to check in, my credit card was alreaddy charged for the full ammount ($880) for 4 nights, which is a first as usually I NEVER get charged until check out any where else (and I do travel and stay in hotels, motels & apartments very often). Also, when we where given our keys we walked through a back alley way to get to the apartment (it looked like the BRONX) I entered the apartment and laid on the bed as we just completed a 16hr day and 12hr drive from Townsville to Mt Isa and first thing I felt was springs through the matress and I'm not over weight at all, I'm average built, 6ft1" and weigh 105kg so I'm definately not 300kg. Also, my colluege straight away came out of his bedroom and said exactly the same thing about bed and he also weighs around 100kg and he is 6ft4" and his feet were hanging over the end of the bed by about 300mm. Also, some of the dishes wherent prooperly washed or cleaned at all. some had egg on it and also cockroaches too! Both of us decided not to even stay one night and look for accomodation else where. We found vacancy at Copper city for one night and IBIS styles for three nights (as all else had no vacancy due to annual Minex Mt Isa Mining Expo). The next morning I tried to get a full refund after discussion with lady at reception which did not happen to our satisfaction. I definately DO NOT reccomend this place.
Aircon very poor noisy people at rear of room till very late
It had everything we needed was located close to town and was very reasonably priced
Couldn't access the free wifi for some reason
Nice and quiet. Room was comfortable for the night. The reception was very friendly and informative in letting us know what we wanted to know. Secure parking out back was great.
Finding power sockets to use was a bit difficult - not many around.
Good location, minutes from central Mount Isa (by car). Reception was very welcoming and helpful, and went out of her way to accommodate our unexpectedly very late arrival, after our road to the Isa was blocked by floods. Comfy bed, clean room, good for self-catering. Full size, clean fridge.
No pool. Power sockets in room were positioned in inconvenient places for laptop use (not a major inconvenience though!).
Best motel mattress we have ever slept on. The building was very old, but very clean
Bit of a maize from car park to room
The Staff were very friendly :-)
